Rusty - sorry to hear you're not well. I've not had any back ops or know anyone who has - sorry.
And err..... yes I'll 'fess up I wondered too.:o
Flourgirl - 3 tops! & a coat! Well done! Didn't know you were going to Venice, When do you go? Is it for a special ocassion or have you been before? My friend really wanted to go when we went to Italy in the summer but the weather wasn't good & we ran out of time. I'd love any info in case we get to try again.
The wife - I use those little silicone(ish) glue dots to stick card candy - sometimes you need 2 depending on the size.
Louby - good luck with your craft fair on Friday.
Skiergirl - sorry you're still poorly.
Mary-op - Sorry to hear DH is still poorly - fingers crossed - hope he gets better not worse.
Forgotten what else I've read - I'll refresh my memory & pop back later.....0 -
Please can someone tell me what the difference is between pro markers for colouring in images and say the Marvy Le Plume pens which I own (did post before but not sure if I missed an answer or not)
Why do I need these over the Marvy ones I own (won't need much persuading lol) Kate :hello:0 -
Flourgirl the atg gun is fab it is going to save a lot of time especially on the coaster calendars etc all those fiddly bits drove me mad. They are a fab price from 3m at the moment .Tape is out of stock there now .
When we are brave enough to go to meadowhall we get there for when they open and leave about an hour to an hour and a half later when it gets busy.
Princesswoo Thank you so much.
The Wife my hubby said i should get a cruel side and say i need lots of mens card lol. Baby ones would be nice if anyone has the odd one to spare . I have some beauties think they were from mrsb'sblog but i plan to display some amongst the nappy cakes.
Ali The guns are fab once you pick it up you just want to stick everything .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Rusty and Marg We are going to Venice for New Year its just a 3 day trip! A few years ago we ( ME DH SIL & BIL) decided as none of us did anything on New Years Eve we should go away on a cheapie so 2 years to Prague and this year to Venice. Not sure if we could afford to go for longer as I have been told £10 for a coffee in St Marks Square
Have a look on You Tube it looks fantastic. Prague is amazing on NYE the fireworks are just brilliant and such an amazing atmosphere and a beautiful city. Will report back on how we get on in Venice.
Princess so sorry your baby is unwell, it make you feel so helpless when they cant tell you whats wrong and makes you wish you could be poorly instead. Sending you both lots of ((((((Hugs)))))) xx0 -
Craftygranny thats the one I have been looking at I even went through the checkout to the last minute then backed out. The tape seems quite wide, the one I use most of is 6mm but I suppose for matting and layering it doesnt matter. Will keep checking for the tape back in stock.0

Fesses up to Rusty - was me too! :rotfl::rotfl:.
I felt a bit iffy this morning and that was what was suggested to me at work - deffo not  would rather stick rusty pins in my eyes.
Didn't know about craftwork cards - will keep my eyes open as well.
I've been to venice but was a very long while ago and was incredibly extortionate even then - seem to remember it being full of cats and pidgeons but not in the same areas - weirdOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Marvy Le Plume
Le Plume II are watercolour markers. One end has a fine brush tip which is large enough for direct use on rubber stamps. You can make multi-coloured impressions by using two or more pens on the rubber before stamping. A blender is also available. They are also acid free/non-toxic, water based ink, blendable, duo ended medium brush point and an extra-fine plastic point. 108 colours available.
ProMarkers by Letraset
These pens are alcohol based inks. Each pen is double-ended, with a broad chisel nib for large area fills and a fine bullet tip for more detailed work. They are bigger in size, so I would presume have more ink in them? These are fantastic for colouring in and have no signs of the stripe effect that you can get with other colouring in pens. They have recently introduced 56 new colours, so there's now 148 colours available.
Hope this helps.
