No problem Gemm, thankyou for the offer. I wanted scallop ovals aswell in the large so wouldn't have been happy with just one set. I wasn't going to fight you over them! :rotfl: Thankyou for the kind offer though. Not sure if I will be happy with scallop ovals or not? do the stamps look ok in them?

Sorry about the floor flourgirl - what's a dishwasher - O I remember me!:rotfl:.
Am grumpy tonight OH is away and I've just sat down after catching up on the housework i didn't do over the weekend! He rings and says I'm really tired I might have an hours sleep before I go in the bar - what did he do yesterday? Cooked tea - that was it he didn't even wash up when I said I couldn't be bothered he said he was sure I'd have it done by the time he came back :mad:.

Anyhoo have started tidying up after the bedroom clear out - why has the mess migrated to the rest of the house?????:rotfl:.

We had the school bear and had to take it on holiday - how embarrassing was it having a foot tall bear scanned and labelled at the airport - I was panicking in case they refused to let us bring him back without a passport :rotfl::rotfl:

This morning I went into the kitchen to find a flood!! the dishwasher had been on during the night and the waste pipe at the back had come out of the drain and had been emptying itself all over the kitchen floor. We managed to dry everything out during today and Philip fixed the pipe but the laminate floor is spoiled, the water has got into the seams and its lifted it a bit We were hoping it would dry out and be ok. Looks like we will have to have a new kitchen floor The good thing is the dishwasher is still working

What a pain Flourgirl!!
I hope it is all cleared up ok and fingers crossed it will be ok! Thank goodness the dishwasher still works!

I think this is a wonderful idea for a present Sunrise and so very personal, I would love to get a present like this.

Anyway reason I want to say thank you is I have had a friendship break up and that has made me feel really down this week.Then today had good news but also upsetting. A friend of mine who has lost children previously in the early stages has recently found out she is expecting so while happy for her am also sad as hubby and I have been trying for 15 years. Well today she sent me the scan pics and she is having twins so am really happy for her but am sat in tears feeling sorry for myself ans wishing it could be me - although just one not twins.

Recently I have had to buy cards including one for my Mum which really upset me. Today I have started making a card for someone special involved in Childminding and that is thanks to you lot on here. I am making a poor man's version of a star card and then am going to try and decorate it with different things connected to her life. interesting to do as don't know her that well. The reason it is a poor man's version is because after googling the star card realised I wouldn't get one made in time to post it to the person delivering it to her. This upset me as being a typical Gemini I had this idea and nothing else would do. but have found a solution I think. Have taken some card blanks I had in and have stuck these together and have come up with something similar. haven't started to decorate it yet but think it may work.

Because you ladies have have inspired me to card make again it has kept me sane with something to concentrate on so thank you again xxxx

Oooh Kate hun I was really moved by your story. I can't think of anything suitable or helpful to write but want to say you are in my thoughts. This thread is a wonderful place to be and I have made some great friends from here.
