Phew  Just read though 10+ pages, sorry I've been awol, loads on here with fireworks night, kiddie stuff and trying frantically to get ready for my first fair on Saturday 14th.

I too had a brilliant time at the NEC :j, will pop piccies on my blog of my stash, pressies from furrypig, Rusty and bunbun and card from skiergirl :D It was great meeting up with everyone. Mel, got you some dst and have posted it today along with a little something else ;)

Been making Christmas survival kits today. Also very busy with the raffle for the preschool, had some good prizes back including £100 cash, a christmas tree from the local forest and an organic box of veg!

Loving the bra/pants cards, they are fantastic :T :T :T

Flourgirl, I have sent Ikkie some cards but they are ones I had previously made as I was running out of time to make anything new. I haven't actually made a card for about a month and am having massive withdrawl symptoms. Just don't seem to have the time at the moment. Debating whether to have a night off tonight or if I should crack on and get my snowman soup done and out of the way? There is a fab little reindeer kit on the front of this month's Cross Stitcher magazine that I really want to start stitching.

Mary, thinking of you and your OH. Hope things are ok. I'll pop a bookmark paperclip in the post to you so you can see how I've made it, very easy I have to say ;)

Congrats on yr win Choccy your haloween container was fab!

Rusty I love that pic of the 12 of us and I hope u don't mind that I have nicked it!! I might even stick it on my blog as it's fab and a great reminder of the day and we all look like we are having a blast on the hen night!

I will not be posting my stash on here as I am sure I have far too much and I will just be too embarrassed!! But here were some great bargains!! I have started my sealed tin ready for March who will join me in the 'sealed tin for the NEC challenge'??

Rusty glad you had a fab time at the NEC it sound like your haggling skills are second to none, great prices on the Scor-pal and nesties. Wish I had sent you some money to get me some lol. I hope you havent over done it with your back problems! Fab photo of you all now I know what you look like :) x

I managed to get them cheap for everyone but didn't buy any myself!!! They only had one set of large ovals and Gemm picked them up!! ... Oh well next time I will hopefully be able to get some, you never know they might have some new ones out then aswell ;) I think I must have thought I was being clever by driving nearly 500 miles and walking round the NEC in one day!! I am suffering quite badly now! mind you I am blaming the driving and the NEC but I fell down the stairs on the morning of the NEC, I had to scream to wake OH up to help me get up :( fastest I have ever made it down the stairs though :rotfl: nice black bruises on my bum and back!

Mrs.Tidge - I used to watch the wrestling years ago - but then my Dad told me it was fixed and I stopped watching it. My OH got me back into it about 10 years ago. I also love the UFC - does anyone watch that?

Rusty - the fairies are my favourite stamps at the minute - they are so pretty and they stamp really well! The only place that sells them in the uk is quixotic paperie:

here's their usa shop if you want to have a nose:

Thankyou Melissa, they are so beautiful!! I must not spend any more money though!! not just yet anyway!! I will have a look at the usa site in a few minutes! Have you seen the lovely stamps from the greeting farm?? I love these ones especially madelynn and izzy!! I am very tempted to buy a couple though!! do they come with Ezmount on them already? I don't own any greeting farm stamps!

Rusty do you want to set the next challenge?

Erm yes please if that is ok with everyone else? don't think I have ever set one on here before :D ...

MrsTidge - hope your little one feels better soon. Please don't make yourself feel too guilty! I sent my DS to school with chicken pox!! :D it sometimes does them good to catch these things and build up the resistance to them!!

Rainmac it doesn't matter if you had made cards previously (Ihad too) just wanted to get everyones name on the list :) I thought you must be busy with your craft fair stuff. There is so much going on at the moment and never seems enough time to do things. Don't panic and take a little time off tonight and start fresh tomorrow x

When my nan died a few years ago my dad got a few of the things from her belongings that I had made. It included a huge handmade card with snoopy in a hot air balloon that I had drawn!! I used to be snoopy mad, but my nan obviously loved it as she kept it for many years!

Look at us now card making as adults kinda interesting me thinks!

thats really nice that she kept it

ive made another card today , not on my blog yet but ive messed it up trying to sort templates out and i dont know what im doing lol told you all im new to blogs

Phew - just slapped cheek. It was pretty dramatic the way it spread though! A few days off school, it's a real shame as he has a school trip to Cadbury World on Thursday.

Hopefully I'll get a chance tomorrow to package some bits up for Alicia and Ikkie - of course I'll be working hard from home too!
