I am home safely and I am very very very tired .... :sleep: Got home around 11:30 and now I am more than ready for my bed ... OH has been extra helpful and planned for us to be up extra early in the morning to sort out the garage :mad:

I can`t sleep, hence being up at this hour, feel a bit poorly too.

I almost purchased a scallop cutter it was 2 inches diameter but I put it back.... why do I do these things??? Now I wish I had got it.

I must get on with some Christmas cards- just want a simple but striking design, hopefully I`ll get chance to make some later today!

Another NEC 12er signing in... Yes i know its silly o'clock.. As soon as i knew that Rusty was home safe. I managed to fall asleep myself on the sofa

Rusty Thankyou so much for being my chauffeur for the day. The hen party gift bags you put together along with sashes and special 'bride to be' stuff for Hels Were such a great , thoughtful and generous idea. I hope you are feeling better after a sleep and are not too achey today
I do keep giggling at the 'Wild'. comments from stall holders. I think we should all wear sashes in March too :rotfl:

It was great to meet up with everyone and now being able to put faces to names. I just wish the day was longer then we could all spend more time getting to know one another, shopping and chatting. Meeting Sylphraven, Furrypig and Rainmac again was just like meeting your best friend that you see every week

Morning all. Just photographed my stash and the boys wanted to know how I had so many presents without it being my birthday!

NOt sure if I'll get a chance to play today - maybe I'll let the boys have an extended play on the Wii and sneak into the study...

Do you know it took me ages to get off to sleep last nite, couldn't stop thinking about the day!
I can't stop looking at my stash and lovely presents and cards, the day was perfect and very special thank you so much.

Rusty could you let me know how you made the fudge? it was gorgeous!
Skiegirl The card was gorgeous, how did you do the image?
Rainmac Oooh rocky road cake it was stunning!!! You know the little scalloped circles you used to make our little gifts have you used punches?

Morning everyone!!! WOW what a fab day yesterday!!! I got home about 9pm and kinda fell through the door with my reallllllllllly full trolley & said to OH 'I've had the BEST day!!' He laughed & laughed even more when he saw how full my trolley was & the fact I was carrying some bits separately cos they wouldn't fit in the trolley :rotfl:and then just said good to see you had a good time!!! ooh and then proceeded to produce dinner!! Yay!! Give that man a gold star!!

It was so lovely to put faces to names and I think I've got it in my head everyones RL names NOW even if I didn't yesterday! Everyone is so lovely and it was fun to be able to chat to people who craft cos I don't know anyone who does!!

Mrs Tidge - you old gal you!!! :rotfl:thank you so much for the paint tins and cards ooooooh and for buying me the beautiful 'xmas tree' peeloff! cos I only had coppers left in my purse!! You're a 'life saver' - couldn't have survived without that peeloff :rotfl:I too am totally in love with Little Claires stamps!!! And anyway whadda mean 'boy popkins can shop' - I resemble that remark :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Rainmac - thank you soooo much for the gorgeous little gifts - so lovely to have some 'Rainmac' originals!! & will put photos on my blog later! Was so sweet of you and it was lovely to meet you oooh & the rockyroad was fab too!

Rusty - thankyou so much for the little bag of goodies - was such a lovely thought and also thank you for the bits and pieces for Hels 'hen day' didn't we look mighty fine & oh so wild in our sashes!! Also a big BIG BIG thankyou for your great negotiation skills in getting us such a fabtastic deal on our Scorpals & Nesties (the only two things on my original shopping list!!!! Mmmmm so how come my trolley was full to brimming? :rotfl:) I am beyond happy to have them & for such bargainess prices!!! You were like a woman possessed LOL!!! Well done!! :T Glad to hear you got home safely!

JHB - thanks also for your negotiation work on getting us all the Scorpal/Nesties for great prices - you & Rusty make a great team - a force to be reckoned with :rotfl:it was really lovely to meet you & how fab we got our photo taken & hopefully gonna be in the mag!!! Your 'special' mince pies looked really lovely & everyone looked very very happy munching away so I'd say they were a big success!!! (just sorry I couldn't try them myself cos I can't have cheese!!) Hels - was really lovely to meet you & I hope you enjoyed your NEC hen day!!! it was quite bewildering wasn't it with all that choice!!! :rotfl:I was a bit bamboozled to begin with but soon hit my stride!!!! :rotfl:Once I get into shopping mode theres no stopping me!! So once again Ladies a big THANKYOU for a fab day out I really had the best time & now my mojo is definitely back and I will be trying to make as many of mum's Xmas cards as I can today - now that I've got some fab Xmas bits'n'bobs!!!!

Hi again Gals, I have honestly only ached like this twice before, once when I did a 15 mile walk for charity, and when I tried out EA Wii Active.

JHB- Love the photos. Sorry, I didnt realise you were doing the bargain talking on the stall as well, Rustys obviously the louder one & from the back thats who we could hear, lol. Well done hun!

OAP - Wow, love the cards, scanning your vest was a brilliant idea.

Paddington - I love the new lili of the valley stamps of the little angel girl with holly round her head, shes gorgeous! but by that stall I was almost broke and was still hunting for cowboy boot embellishments, lol. Hopefully she'll be reduced after christmas as I cant get any more craft goodies now until then. (thanks for finding me some Furry )

Craftgranny - I had just gone to bed when you posted your last comment, and was asleep in seconds.

Rusty - glad you made it home ok, what a long day for you, well worth it I'm sure and I hope you dont get woken up too early this morning.

Save-a-penny - Hobbycrafts is back at the NEC between the 25th & 28th March again.

Choccy - can you send your fudge recipe this way as well please, I can remember the ingredients but need the quantities. I want to try it with Kirsch and chopped cherries in it, mmmmmmm.
I have asked the original owner of the Mince Pie recipe if I can pass it on, or if she can post it on the board, I though it was only fair. If I get given the all clear I'll definately pass it on to you & Hels.

Sorry Popkins, I'll remember for next time, though I dont normally add cheese to sweet things I'm sure we'll also chat more next time, even with my great big mouth shyness hinders me with new people.
Thank you for the compliment on my dress, I love the fabric design by Alexander Henry & had to do something with it, its my fav item of clothing.

I'm planning a crafty weekend with my new stash, and to overhaul my blog(s) so hopefully I'll have a few things to show soon
