why are some children so nasty . Kaitlyn won't dress up she finds it too scary but yesterday she sat for hours with her uncles and carved two pumpkins. She put one at either side of the front door just as it was getting dark and within half an hour one had gone and they weren't little kids either. My son saw them take it and the cheeky so and so's had no costumes just knocking on neighbours doors with the stolen pumpkin in hand . Kaitlyn was gutted . Sorry for the rant.
Rainmac i've heard that film is brilliant. My daughter used to love the book.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

I have managed to make a christening card for an order tonight I have been meaning to do this all week but kept putting it off I'm quite pleased with the result. http://dragonllew.blogspot.com/2009/10/christening-card.html0 -
Can I ask what machines you find best for card making? I mean like diecut ones? Have seen lots and every time they are on craft tv im very nearly buying just cant seem to make up my mind.
Just thought would ask all you more serious crafters than me, so any good or bad things for me to consider would be very greatful. Thanks!0 -
ginger a lot of people on here have cuttlebugs, myself included and love them to bits!! especially all the embossing folders, which I use more than dies to be honest.
I haven't got any experience of other machines to compare but my 'bug does everything I could want it to do at the moment!0 -
I have a cuttlebug too and use it for my embossing folders and the nesties and even use it with a quickutz alphabet and some cuttlekids ones. It can do almost anything .Price is not bad either. Maybe it should be on x factor it's better than john and edward rofl.
Dragonllew . That card is beautiful i left you a comment.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Ginger, most of the dies are interchangeable with different machines, the 'Bug' is the favourite here, it's a good machine. I've got the Wizard as my cutting out is appalling and at the time was the one I bought after giving my grandaughters my Big Shot. Some of the big thick dies, I think, won't go through the Wizard.
If you do get a 'Bug' come back and let us know, we will give you the link to Ikkie's blog who is an absolute mine of information about anything 'buggy'. Find the link on my blog here:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Craftygranny: With kids like that i always wonder where the parents are and what are they teaching them. They tried to take some of our decorations from the front of the house, but i was out there like a shot and gave them what for. If i found out 1 of my children had behaved like that i would go nuclear.
Ginger: I bought cuttlebug on the advice of the ladies on here. I LOVE IT. I use the embossing folders, sizzix dies, sizzlits, sizzix embosslits, and nesties. I does everything i want it too and more.
I dont use any of the cuttlebug dies though. Havent found any i like.
I too have found ikkie's blog whilst blog hopping and i have picked up loads of tips and ideas and learnt loads that i never thought it would do but it does, and i got mine really cheap too.
It has given my card making a whole new dimension.

Think they may be getting more than they bargained for the bloke across the road from me is ex army and runs the neighbourhood watch and he saw them and has reported them to the police who will be visiting their parents on monday.
If they were mine they wouldn't live long once i knew about it . Then again mine wouldn't do it. I have 2 18 year olds a 27 and a 28 year old who all put their rubbish etc in their pockets if they don't see a bin when they are out and bin it when they get home . One of the youngests mates asked him why and he said even now mum and dad would give us hell if we dropped rubbish. :rotfl:
The wife i thought you had gone somewhere did i get it wrong? How is ben has he settled in well.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Can't make Friday now as I'm off to DD's on Tuesday. Never mind, looks like I'll have to go spend the pennie elsewhere.
