Hi Princesswoo - can I ask which alphabet you bought? I've had a look on the Sizzix site but can't make up my mind!

    Thanks

    I got:
''In my heart'' Which is gorgeous.
''alpha bubbles'' which will be great for male cards, as well as loads of others.

I didnt want any that were to thin as im using them on my cuttlebug. Plus i find the thinner they are the more fiddly they are to glue down.

Just been looking online and they have gone back up to £42 a set, if you want these i would hold of a bit as i have seen them go up and down in price. I wanted some about 6 weeks ago when they were £13 a set, forgot all about them, then they went back up to £62 a set then last week back down to £13. So dont buy them at the price they are now.

I went back through all mse threads and they have been £13 a set loads and loads of times, so chances are they will be this cheap again.

Cgcockcroft - hi, and welcome back!!!!!

Giggle - lovely calendars - love those paisley papers!

Marg - I've been sat here tonight with a few spare hours and cannot figure out what on earth to make - I feel like I've really wasted my evening, I've got so many challenges that I'd like to do and loads of xmas cards to make, but I'm really missing inspiration. I've finished your "friendship" card, and I'll be posting it next week - sorry for the delay!!!

Polly - gorgeous card - I love those colours together!!

Craftygranny - your towel and nappy cakes are fabulous - I can't believe they're your first attempts!!!

CT19720 - a fabulous selection of cards for Alicia - my favourites are the xmas ones made with the kraft paper - I think they're gorgeous!!!

Jem - I am addicted to using square scalloped cards for my card blanks - I buy mine from here along with a lot of other people on the thread - I use the size 6 ones - they are about 6 inches square!

Jem i use the same cards most of the time too and i have a huge drawer full of a6 but think they look a bit small but i do use them occasionally. Most of the time i cut them up and use them for embossing in the bug.

Melissa Thank you i was a bit worried about posting the pics . I wasn't sure they were any good.

I can't get my head round cards at the moment so have been doing the pots of gold, the cakes and snowman soup with princess k

ct The cards are brilliant thank you . love them all

Hi Hels! I bought these tins, they are teeny tiny and looked rather carp when they arrived but once I'd added the ribbon and sweets they looked fine. Less than a week to go for the NEC :T :j :T :j

Princesswoo, I can't get the link to work but thanks for the thought. We have a paper mill near us that do that, only A4 and A5, I was thinking A5 too small A4 too big? What do you use?

CT19720 I have one of those 'swish swish' things where the cutter goes across and back http://www.whsmith.co.uk/CatalogAndSearch/ProductDetails-A4+Paper+Cutter+II-32953954.html like this but cheaper. Completely forgot I had it in the loft somewhere until you said!

Melissa75, they look lovely, may just splash out and worry about making my own next time if I manage to make something that is fit to give out and not chuck straight in the recycling bin, thanks.

craftygranny, my kingdom for a cuttlebug! Thanks for the tip.

Jem1276 - i have fixed the broken link in my previous post. (sakura pen - ebay)

I buy A4 card then i can cut it down, unless they have a colour i really like but only in A5 then i will get a couple of sheets and use it in the cuttle bug etc.
