yes the 12x12 one. the bit that rusty cut was 5mm wider at one end than the other.
I sometimes have the same problem, i thought it was just the way i was using it. I've only had it 2 weeks as well. Like yours it's about 5mm out at one end.
And i only bought it cos you lot said it was the best one for cutting perfect. :rotfl:
Louby-lou-lou: I got my x-cut gullotine from the craft superstore, its still on offer:

My mil got one for £8 on offer at the range, I do more crafting than her and can't believe she didn't ring me to ask if i wanted one when i had told her i was looking for one, They aren't on offer now. She is going away and i asked if i could borrow it and she said no  i was a bit surprised, i won't break it. I have over 30 xmas inserts to trim and my guillotine is rubbish. My mum bought it me a few years ago bless her heart was in the right place but it isn't what i would have chosen.
Blimey that's a good price - mine was about £20 I think but well worth every penny.
Have just used it to throw together a card for one of DD's friends - printed image off tinternet layered on card plus a border bit run through bubbles bug folder all stuck together about 15 mins including printing- can't take a pic as DD has already delivered it
.
Was very proud of her today at swimming she got her next dolphin certificate plus 100m and has moved up to the advanced class - am soooooo glad the physio has banned me from swimming I'd be embarrassed by my efforts now :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

evening all!
Congrats to Polly and Rainmac on your wins.
Rusty and Bunbun - sounds like you've had a lovely day(shame about the wonky trimmer though!)
Whoopidoo - I think your cards are great. Love everything else on our blog too!
Just knocked up a quick card for someone at work tonight - I'm in love with my Bellas again! It's on my blog if you have a mo!0 -
Polly Congratulations on your win
Bunbun and Rusty glad you have had a fab day, and managed to get some crafting done!
Louby I have loads of inserts to do too, I really should try and do them when i actually make the card instead of just pilling them up and doing them all at once. Its a job I dont like doing.
I have managed to send my cards to Ikki today and hopefully she will get them before the next strike.
Rainmac you should get post tomorrow, I posted it at the same time as Mrs Tidge's stuffThank-you for your comments on my blog x If there is anything I can do to help you with your craft fair things just let me know.
I have put todays make on my blog0 -
Ladies I need your help - with an important crafting matter of course.
I own a cricut which I love and when I bought it I sold my big shot to a friend ( big mistake) but didn't have the space. but have recently started watching Create and craft being inspired by all your posts.
I have seen the Craft robo and I want one. I can't warrant one though at approx £200 - although hubby didn't bat an eyelid when I said I wanted one he just asked why I needed it what did it do that my cricut didn't.
I know it is connected to the computer but would I really need one or not. Or would I be better buying some kind of embossing machine and what would you recommend. my heart says Robo but sensible head says too expensive and an embossing machine would be better value.
Feeling fed up today so thinking about spending money on craft is keeping me away from the chocolate:wave: Kate :hello:0 -
I am looking for inspiration for a craft room ladies and wondering if any of you could help me.
Only hubby and me in a three bed house oh and lots of child minded children during the week. Biggest bedroom is ours, middle one is study and used to house my craft stuff but that went away as business stuff took over. The smallest bedroom was my 'meditation' room but has only been used as a dumping ground when tidying up. So I have decided that it is not being used for what I wanted so may as well make it into a craft room and keep all the craft stuff out.
So my request is do any of you have pics on your blogs/elsewhere of your craft areas so I can check them out and get some inspiration for mine. Kate :hello:0 -

Long time lurker rarely a poster as feel I don't really have anything to add as do not have a crafty bone in my body!:o
But I made my 'save the date' cards for my wedding a couple of years ago and have used kits before and enjoyed it and thought I would like to make my christmas cards this year.
I have no imagination but have had the silly idea of trying to make my own christmas cards this year.
I would like them to be:
Flat so no extra postage as have a lot to post.
Cheapish as on a limited budget.
Not needing fancy tools like you guys have, and I lust over, like cuttlebugs and stuff.
So basically, I would like the moon on a stick, can anyone suggest anything?
Thank you x0 -

Is it one of these mags? http://www.cardmakingandpapercraft.com/
What do you call those sheets with words or pictures on that are gold or silver and are not completely flat and you peel them off and stick them on cards? (clear as mud?!) I don't what they are called so cannot search for them :rotfl:0
