  • Well done Polly and Rainmac - I love it when one of us wins :D.

My xcut is fine although I have had the prob with end bit of 12x12 but I was trying to cut 4 layers at one :o and think I might have been pulling away from the edge IYSWIM.

Great stuff from craftwork cards - good to see where some of our hardearned cash is going :rotfl:.

Got a small order from the glitter pot today only ordered Sunday afternoon and they rang me to check something yesterday about 2:30 am well impressed.
Before anyone asks I got 2 of these to tidy my table up (they don't half hold a lot) and some whitewash coredinations as it was on offer (and I wanted to get the best value for my whole £1 of postage) :p
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

If your guillotines are faulty then contact Docrafts right away, they have brilliant customer service and will probably send you a replacement. I had a Crop-o-dile accident when I lost one of the feet and tried to use it without, it slipped to the side and took half of my little finger nail clean off. They apologised profusely (even though it was my fault) and sent me a replacement bit.

I have loved this guillotine since it came out tops in a poll on UKS to see which trimmer everyone loved the most, I'm sorry if anyone has had probs with theirs :( I feel bad for recommending it!!

Get an email sent out BunBun if you think yours is faulty, definitely. You have tested and measured and it's not up to standard. All the different departments of Docrafts is seperated and unfortunately I don't have anything to do with that side or else i'd sort it for you.

I have had a really fab day with rusty and it was nice with it being the school holidays having plenty of time and not being restricted to school times.
we went shopping and did some crafting...a perfect day! I borrowed rusty's nesties and made some circles and scallops - thank you!! although my nice new c plate is not so nice and new any more (neither is one of my b plates cos I put the nestie in upside down!) :D
for a while now I have thought that my x cut guillotine isn't cutting straight and rusty confirmed it today:mad: does anyone else have a problem with their's? I will e mail craft superstore and see what they say.

well done rainmac and polly on your wins:T

I can confirm that Bunbuns trimmer is definately wonky and it aint just her eyes!! :rotfl:

Thanks for a fantastic day!! :j :j :j :j :j even if you have cost me a small fortune by forcing me to buy new pretty papers to stroke!! :rotfl:

  • what's the best price you have seen for the x cut guillotine? My mil got one for £8 on offer at the range, I do more crafting than her and can't believe she didn't ring me to ask if i wanted one when i had told her i was looking for one, They aren't on offer now. She is going away and i asked if i could borrow it and she said no  i was a bit surprised, i won't break it. I have over 30 xmas inserts to trim and my guillotine is rubbish. My mum bought it me a few years ago bless her heart was in the right place but it isn't what i would have chosen.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
