Thanks for the cuddly buddly link - will enter later and download them free bears - a girl can never have enough bears
.
Furry - I bought my promarkers singly mostly from Joanna Sheen but got a few for £1.50 from Lili of the valley at Harrogate - they had a box on the back of the stand that you had to ask for.
Unfortunately there were few bargains to be had on anything - hope the NEC is better for you all but don't count on it - even the sets were cheaper online.
Colours I use most - obviously the browns for bears
from the lightest: Vanilla, Sandstone, Caramel, Raw Sienna and Cocoa. I usually colour in with the lightest then draw round the edges with the next darkest one if that makes sense.
I also have
Pinks: Pastel Pink, Blossom and Rose Pink
Blues: Powder Blue and Blue Pearl
Plus: Ivory, Blush, Lilac and Orchid
I'm waiting for the Christmas set and the new Spring Summer Autumn and Winter ones that I ordered from Little Claire last week
Any other colours I need are either Whispers brushmarkers water colour pencils or borrowed from DD usually for a fee:rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

After a few requests this should help:
Go to your blogspot blog.
Click on "LAYOUT"
Click on add gadget
Add a title and caption of your choice
The link you need to add the picture from the web is http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_XYv9m-BgMaw/SuTtiWIes0I/AAAAAAAAAdY/nV_X8ciCTz4/S220/alicia_button.png
and the hyper link to link to the blog is http://cardsforalicia.blogspot.com
Thank for this i didn't know how to do it. I had to re-size the image though as it would fit on my blog
I really wish i was going to the NEC too but i am not sure i could last all day. We nipped into town at the weekend and i was so tired. i also suffer with awful motion sickness and i can't take my tabs while pg. I am currently living in jogging bottoms as i can't find any mat jeans in short leg but with a big enough waist.
The computer has been out of ink for a while but i managed to get some yesterday so i will be printing inserts all pm i think.
I have hinted heavy to santa that i NEED a x-cut trimmer (lucky rusty) and scallop and circle punches but i am not sure he was listening. My santa doesn't seem to think they are things you give for xmas but i would be over the moon to get them is that sad?:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
Not sad at all. We are just getting token gifts for each other this year and I told OH I didn't want to have to spell out my gift I wanted him to think about it and get me something that he had put lots of thought into... now I'm seeing loads fo yummy stuff and wish I'd kept my big gob shut and just presented him with a list of crafty options:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0

That's not sad at all. Last night my hubby said i can't wait for xmas , why i said thinking well he's not mentioned anything special he'd like .His reply well thats when i get to see all the things i've bought you.
oops i got so fed up of him saying what do you want , well you get it cos i won't know what to look for that now i buy it and he gets to see it then. now that is sad. lol.
Bunbun hope you have a fab day with rusty . Posted something to you today as i didn't get to the post office yesterday.

This thread goes way too fast for me.
I've only got a few minutes of my lunch break left...
Congrats to PML.
I would like to contribute to some of these charity card making things, but I'm barely able to make cards for personal use at the moment (still buying birthday cards). But I promise to make some in the future when I'm more organised and regular at card making.
I looked up these nestabilities, but I guess you need a machine for them?
It's my birthday in Feb, so maybe a die cutter/embossing machine is something I can ask from my hubby. The thing that puts me off is the cost of the stencil things. Any recommendations?0 -
congrats on your blog candy win Rainmac
Thanks for the compeitition info Whoopidoo have also entered hope someone on here wins!
Gemm must get to Sainsburys and buy both mags will be a good bargain!!
Padster thanks for all the info on promarkers, I really liked your dungarees and the way they were coloured looked great. I got some promarkers for my bday after all the recommendations on here. I also still have my Whispers pens and I used them much more after watching PLM's tutorial on u tube. I think they are much nicer when used as water colours, but I have trouble with skin tones and Choccy O' has recommended promalers skin tones set so I have that on my list to buy! Also it is easier just to colour rather than get my aqua pen out (yep I am lazy!) looks like several of us will be looking for promarker bargains!! When I was at the craft say at Sandown Park there weren't any promarker bargains but the NEC will be bigger.
Bunbun I bought 2 sets of nesties for £30 at Sandown park it was a special craft fair price and the company didn't do the same deal online they said they liked to do something special for the fairs so hopefully you will find some bargains. Hope you have had a fab time with Rusty!
I have seen an advert in the local community mag and I have signed up for a 'card club' on Monday night! No idea what it will be like but it's £7 and is 2.5 hours long and there will only be about 3 or 4 people max she said. I don't need to bring anything so will go along and try it out! The lady is holding it at her home which is just a few mins walk from mine, so very convenient!0 -

Team Edward means you are on Edward the vampires side, Team Jacob means you are on Jacob the werewolfs side there is no right or wrong answerPersonally I'd rather have Bill from True Blood
I'm 2 thirds of the way through Host and loving it:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0
