  • Rusty I've tried memento , stazon and allsorts and the best one i found so far is the impress one melissa uses i use it to stamp everything all my mangas and even the teeny smirk ones and had no probs when i colour them in.

I've finally made it back on my new lappy seems fine and my internet connection finally seems to be sorted so hopefully i'll be around more . Bought 2 more no cake cakes today as my boys are 18 tomorrow ( where does the time go ) . They look fabby in blue.

Dawnteabag you have my sympathy i hate birds too the thought of them has my tummy churning. shiver

Melissa i bought some bazzill 12 x 12 a while ago and only used one sheet so far but it seems a bit stronger than normal card to me or have i imagined that. lovely quality.

Mrs Tidge Hope you enjoy your film my grandsons went to see it last night they thought it was fab.

No crafting for me tomorrow my mil phoned and announced she will be visiting tomorrow . Had to cancel my meal out my hubby doesn't know how to say no to her. Sure she waited for me to go out before she rang lol.

Furrypig - lovely challenge cards. How did you do the wording on the first one - it looks so effective???

Melissa do you mean the big shiny silver christmas card?? If so this was done using my cuttlebug. I am happy to 'do' you some if you would like, just let me know.

Oh! Heavens! (thud!) He he! Rusty, that was me falling off the chair at that gorgeous picture of James Martin over on CP, I'm not going to look at your blog until the card arrives.

I've just posted a card on my blog I've made for DD, I'm just not happy with it, it's not how I imagined it would be. It needs something else but for the life of me I can't think what. I need some honest answers here, please. Is it too plain? should I put some brads in the corners? I just don't know.

Thanks choccy, I'm going to take another photo as I've just put a few gems on it. I have a real problem with things being symmetrical or I think its called random symmetry or to me balance. Am I making sense?

Honestly? I think it is beautiful! ... but agree about it needing something more (sorry should I say that?) and then when I scrolled down I noticed you had added some gems .... it is now perfect! the gems make it look like a completely different card  Absolutely beautiful!!!

Sorry about putting the card on my blog but if I didn't then it would never have got blogged! don't get your hopes up, it was horrible from start to finish :rotfl:

I am now debating placing another order from quixotic paperie ......

Can anyone point me in the direction of the nanas nursery papers please? both boy and girl? what sort of price should I be paying for these? I can only find cardstock?
