Evening ladies - another question from me:o Sorry to be a pain - but for your bazil cardstock is that something you can get from the papermill shop (where you can fill your container) - or do you tend to order it online?0
-
Ali - I don't think papermill sell it, I think they sell just A4 and A5, I buy all of my bazzill online!0
-
Thanks melissa, does it come in different sizes?? was thinking it was just A4.0
-
mrs tidge - sorry forgot to say - your halloween card is lovely!0

Hi Rusty - it finishes on Monday at midnight!!!
ThankyouI will try and get mine done tonight/tomorrow! I know what I want to do!
Have just finished my swing card for THE-WIFE .... I bet she will fall off her seat reading that I have finally done itI will post it on monday
sorry again for the delay! I will now cross it off my to do list!
Anyway it is on my blog .... not 100% happy with it though
Anyone use memento ink? I bought myself a ink pad in black ... but it just seems to bleed whenever I stamp anything?? what am I doing wrong?? I was well happy with my 59p whispers ink pad which is still going strong and also works with my pro markers but read memento was better for promarkers so decided to buy one!! seriously wish I hadn't bothered. If you click on the actual pic of my swing card it will bring up a massive sized picture you can then scroll to the stamping on it and see what I mean!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Rusty - your swing card is fabulous - I love the colours and I'm very impressed with your neat cutting of your patterned paper - I found this card really hard to do. I use an impress ink pad - I've never tried a memento one - but like you I read that they're meant to be good with promarkers.
Abi - Bazzill (I can never remember how to spell it) are best known for their 12x12 inch card but they also sell some A4. I normally get mine from here:

she has an okay selection, its free postage over 20quid and there's 10% off.
However I'm going to order some of this cardstock soon instead:

Rusty your swing card is lovely. The ink pads I have are ok and they are Whispers and Ink it up. The stamped images from ebay are done with stayzon ink.
Melissa thanks for the links.... I'm tempted.....0 -
I think I'm going to have to duck out of the halloween challenges - its really not my thing. I generally try to be out of the country for the whole thing - I am of a very nervous diposition and hate it from start to finish!
Anyhow, I finally got around to making a card - for 40 years service to the Girls Brigade for "auntie Sue" at my old GB company. Put myself under a bit of pressure by being a bit over ambitionus but I think it worked out well in the end.0 -
Dawnteabag - your card is lovely - the papers and flowers are really pretty. Sounds like you've had a busy week -I've always wanted to go to a murder/mystery night.0

It was REALLY good (and a corporate "do" so completely gratis which made it even better. Only downside was an abundance of feather boas on the props table - I've a phobia of birds and feathers make me a feel a little queasy. Surprisingly I got a lot more relaxed about the whole thing as the champagne flowed and managed to touch a feather boa without being sick (but I can feel all the hairs on my neck rising up ust thinking about it now!)
I've just been looking at that link to the coredinations paper you posted Mel. I'm so tempted...
