I've just posted the October card challenge over on CP, I hope you like it!
Oops! I originally posted the challenge in the wrong place! At least I wasn't in the weddings thread! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
I hide in the house with the lights off at halloween, and pray that no one comes to the door. luckily our living room is at the back of the house... gangs of kids/teenagers scare me! :rotfl:0

Hellooooo!
Have been freezing today. My friend loved her card and insisted on paying me but more importantly she bought me a big bag of Marshmallows.
I don't like halloween either - DD wanted to go trick or treating last year but I wouldn't let her - I need someone here to answer the door so I don't have to hide and sit in the dark :rotfl:.
Put my boss on the spot and asked about making up time for my hospital appointments she said I didn't only coz they were at the hospital and I couldn't choose the time :j- If I could choose then I'd have to
May do some embossing later to warm myself up :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hi all!
I think the challenge ends tomorrow so could you please let me know if you have put in an entry. For those who haven't it was to make a card from your scraps and using a die cut. I will do the draw on Wednesday morning and send out a small prize to the winner!!Married 5th June 20101st Baby born 12th April 2011:j0 -
Thank you for the free halloween links.
Dont want you all to think id some halloween fanatic!!!....I dont normally even "celebrate it". But this year wanted to make a card to go with this cool sweetie idea on flyingpig58 thread and her fab blog for my 5 year old cousin. So the free printable papers are great.0 -

Hope everyone is ok? are all of the littlies better now?
Sorry not had a chance to catch up. Have had a day from hell.
OH left at 4am to drive to work, he came back home at 5am slamming doors and cursing... his car had broken, it was overheating and he thought the turbo was broke ... took it to garage and the water pump has completely shattered  and so the head gasket has also gone because of that (all this on a car which isn't even 3 years old!!) ... so have spent today rushing round dropping the car off at one garage then having to pick it up and take it to another cause Vauxhall are refusing to repair it because it is a special edition  ... then I dropped OH off at the train station this evening so he could go to work and then on my way home I managed to stall my car on a really busy roundabout in the middle lane ... or so I thought ... It wouldn't start again ... everyone was flashing and tooting, I had two crying kids in the car because they were so scared that something bad would happen, I couldn't get out of the car because it was so busy and I can't push the car on my own because of my back
.... no one bothered to stop and help me either  then a cop car comes flying past with sirens going etc and I can't move etc ..... then 10 mins later I am still sitting there trying to get it started again and it all just dies on me
... coppers turn up again and I ended up bursting into tears cause it was the same ones who came back to help me!!! ... they pushed me off to the edge of the roundabout so the kids were a tad safer ... they let me call FIL to come pick me up, and OH called his mate who is a mechanic .... eventually coppers left me and then my battery on my phone died ... 10 mins later OH's mate turned up ... after much messing about and trying to bump start it by towing it round the roundabout etc his mate says it is officially dead
... I have had to leave it on the roundabout path overnight til he can go up tomorrow and pick it up! ... 2 hours later my children are only just sitting down to eat their tea
what a terrible mummy I am! ....
I promise to try and catch up tomorrow, I am working in the morning though and now have to walk there and back (1 mile each way ) so I may be in no fit state to even get on the computer
Hope everyone is ok and sorry for the off topic rant!!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
