Sorry to hear of your bad day Rusty. Hope things pick up for you. Also hope you get your back sorted. OH had a discectomy as he had a 'slipped disc' and sciatica. Since the operation three years ago he has been pain-free.0

Rusty - oh no - sounds like you really had the day from hell!!!
I don't really celebrate halloween either, but last year the kids went to their cousins' halloween party and I took loads of fab picks, so I went mad and bought loads of stash to scrapbook them. A year on and I've hardly touched any of it - mind you that hasn't stopped me buying some stamps this year (my excuse was that I could use the monsters etc for boys cards!)>0 -

Gemma - watch your fingers with the heat gun - melted part of my nail one - boy did it stink :rotfl:
thanks for the tip Padster, I've had my fair share of melted nails! the first time I had acrylic nails on I used a lighter, without realising the end of my thumbnail was covering the flame part and it set it alight!! I blew it out quick but the end was very charred :rotfl:0 -
Has anyone ever made a travel diary?
If so do you have pictures?
Whats the inside like? I wanted to buy or even make one for a friend type where you could write few lines and insert pictures/tickets etc.
But would a tesco notepad [or similar] survice? how would i paper in and anround the ring hooks? Would an alterable diary be more suitable if so wheres best to buy that.
btw dont mind spending £££0 -

I've never made one but if it was me doing it I would get a chip board album something like this - cover the pages add a journalling space (page out of a lined notebook) and leave enough room for 6 x 4 photos
HTHOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

hello everyone - just booking my tix for the NEC thanks to Mr Tesco - am going on Sunday with my friend from work.
Could anyone that's been before help me out - does Joanna Sheen have any special offers on the day - I'm on the verge of buying some more promarkers - 2 normal, 2 metallic but am wondering whether to hold off until the NEC.
"&son" is the latest promarker convert - I let him borrow them to design his Christmas card for school. They're being professionally printed and are quite pricy at £4.50 ish for 12 so I thought I'd let him use my pens to get a good finish on the cards. He told me that he might throw all hisfelt tip pens away as they're no good compared to mummy's special pens.
Been back to the hospital today re my eyes - the inflamation has gone down significantly and my vision is now passable but it has dropped significantly - 2 lines on the opticians chart! They have no explanation for what might have happened - I just have to have a new prescription on my contact lenses and hope for the best!0
