    Hi Kim

    I'll be making some fairly soon. My friend always has a big party each year and usually my DD gets to have a sleepover at hers too.

    I've not started the cards yet, but I did make her a Halloween Towel cake which can be seen here:

    I'm just waiting for some light up pumpkins to arrive and will add them to it too!

    What do you think?

    I know weve all been thinking of Christmas lately:p
    But I was wondering if anyone was going to make halloween cards? { I know alot of ppl have young children}.
    If so, is there many online printables [free or otherwise] for papers etc or do you just buy in craft shops for this "holiday"lol.:confused:
    Its my first halloween crafting:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Sally - that's fab! I've been roped into making a spider cake for friend's ds's halloween party. I'll post pics on my blog when it's done.

    Rusty - £40 vouchers, go girl! I'm going to bring my first lot in tomorrow, then maybe try again the next day.

    I'm really looking forward to the NEC! Does anyone know if we can find out who's exhibiting? Are there normally good bargains to be had?
    some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

    Thanks Flourgirl, I must admit I hated touching the spiders etc, but got DD to do it instead, although she did have a good laugh trying to scare me and throw them at me - LOL

    Jailhousebabe, can't wait to see yours!!

    Its like brown parcel wrapping paper but thinner so it will go into the printer, I have used it on the reindeer card. It gives a lovely effect its quite dull and a bit rough

  • Thanks flourgirl - I love your christmas cards with the lyrics.

    My next two 'special' cards are one for neice's christening in 3 weeks, and one for dd's 21st in November. I'm completely stumped with both of them - any suggestions welcome. :)
