Well done to everyone who has had some good news recently, all the winners and my thoughts are with those of you who are poorly or who have poorly relatives, hope you all feel better soon.

A long time someone from here (I think maybe Saveapenny?) kindly sent me the settings to use on my printer so that it would print in gold or silver? Does anyone know what these are please??

    Thanks everyone,

    Sal

  • Evening to everyone, hope you're all well and looking forward to the weekend. I've had a bit of a mixed day. We took our son to Uni at Nottingham today which is great for him but we're now officially empty nesters as my baby has gone (he's still my baby even if he is 6ft tall). To help get over the trauma I found a craft shop to visit about 20 miles further on and my shopping elves had a spree. We had a very warm welcome at Once Upon a Stamp and I'd recommend visiting them if you're in the area. So I got some nestabilities, (4 sets for £60) - plain circles, petite ovals plain & scalloped and a shapeabilities pendant called In Spades, some new Cuttlebug B plates, a Tilda stamp and a pack of 4 rock a blocks in the hope of improving my stamping. Oh and a shapeabilities pendants fleur de lis arriving next week when the new stock arrives. Best of all DH paid. Well I had to have something to cheer me up didn't I?

Sally it was me..... i printed gold font onto a wedding card?
    If so heres the instructions:
I printed onto pearlscented paper (???) as my paper wont take my thick card. As for the gold colour, firstly in word i typed the text and in the font i wanted then
    • i highlighed the text
    • right click on "font"
    • "font colour"
    • selecting "more colours "
    • and clicking on "custom" tab
    • you should see three boxes "red" "green" "blue", in these boxes you need to type in the values for gold ie (RGB: 207, 181, 59)
    • Click "ok" and the text should appear gold.
I found these values on this page but what ever colour you want just type into google "colour rgb values" ie olive rgb values and a list should appear.

Happy Birthday Furry - have a lovely day.

CPS - I'm sure you'll feel a bit lost for a while - but I'm sure you'll soon revel in your freedom! Sounds like a lovely shopping spree though!

Padster - I used to have a major crush on Ally McCoist (still do really!)
