Hi Ladies

I'm struggling to feel motivated for anything this morning, think I'm just tired, but needed to make a card for my friend at work. Plus OH has been told there's to be even further redundancies at his place of work and they've all to have a 10% pay cut. Just what we don't need, as we're struggling enough as it is. I really, really need to find a way of bringing in more money soon, so any suggestions welcome please!

Anyway, did these two, but I'm not happy with them, seems to me to be something missing, what do you ladies think?

Well i am a bit annoyed, today is that coffee morning i was meant to be going to. I have worked my butt off making things for it in the short space of time i have had this week to do things. But the lady who asked me to go has not been in touch with me at all. I had a rough idea where it was but not a proper address as such. i needed to know the venue as to decide what and how much to take, was i getting a table, did they want money for it or a donation from my proceeds to go to the charity, raffle prize etc But i emailed her and contacted her though every means i could and nothing! It's so rude and awkward as she did use to be an old friend of mine but we haven't seen or had anything to do with each other in about 5 years.

Moan over, i will have to take some pics in a bit and post them
so at least someone can see my efforts.

Thanks craftygranny your parcel came yesterday but i didn't get chance to come on and say as my calender tabs from ebay also came that day so i got down to it and started to make some straight the way. Look out for the postman next week.

I was so surprised with the pens thanks so much it really cheered me up as i was in a foul mood with my sons school. The teacher told me she had put him on the sad cloud ( like a naughty step) just because the teacher asked him how many space men were on the white board and he said the correct answer but didn't put his hand up first. He is 4 and it is only his 2nd week, a bit harsh i would say. I am still really annoyed about it as she also told me he was on it on tue for not paying attention but he has some hearing loss and she doesn't seem to take it into consideration at all.

Chocolate.orange - great challenge card, I love the glitter on the witch -- very spooky!!! I promise I will put some new pics of Elliot on my blog soon - I can't believe how much he's grown already!!!

Sally, your cards are perfect to me, sometimes you can 'overegg the pudding', it all comes down to us all being our own worst critics. I love simple cards.

Louby - Sorry to hear you have been messed around, some people can be very rude!! ... Personally I would be livid with your sons school, that is bang out of order! At 4 years old they cannot expect them to know the rules immediately and if he has some hearing loss then no wonder he wasn't paying attention he probably didnt hear!! I would really be cross!!
