Hello everyone. I've been busy again. I've posted pics on my blog including one of my MSE challenge card.

I've been trying to convince myself that this really is a money saving thread o I thought I'd share this little nugget with you. Buying a cuttlebug is actually MSE as you can emboss creased pieces of paper that you might normally throw away. See, every little helps!

Padster- thank you for the gorgeous card and papers - it was only a promarker!

Skiergirl- what a great idea to do a bigger calendar - clever you!
    Polly - stunning cards!

Flourgirl - your ccc card is lvoely - your writing is so neat!

Mary - sounds like you're having quite a time of it at the moment. HOpe you get a nice relaxing evening.

Dragonllew - great challenge card - every part of it is perfect.

    Choccy -love the haunted house!

Raimac- it's boys' 7th birthdays for me - another one of your ideas to pinch!

Rusty - such lovely cards, and actually it's nice to see some on the thread.

DTB - I love all your blog additions - your scrap card is fantastic - what a great idea. Also the little handbags on your projects are amazing!

I'm very proud of myself as i haven't bought any of the new flowers - I really am trying to save myself for the NEC - just want to have a nice big blowout! I'm going to be doing some craft afternoons for the boys' friends rather than a proper after school club and have the feeling I'm going to need to stock up on flowers as it'll mainly be things for Mums!

    Hi

If anyone is interested in those purses I have on some of my more recent cards, I got them from here

The lady had a stall at the harrogate show and i bought a 'goody bag for a fiver. It was amazing value - this is what was in it. I spent a lovely hour or so sat in the sunshine back at the caravan site sorting it all out into little bags to see what I had got.
  • I've just come across this site and don't know why the poems made me think of you all on this site :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello!
Got back about an hour ago from IKEA having got our new desks:j it was a perilous & chilly return journey as the desk tops wouldn't fit in the car & we came back with the tailgate open & the desk tops hanging out the back! It was very securely fastened but we had to go slow. (we are about an hour from Ikea) The delivery charge if they'd delivered would have been £70 & DH wouldn't pay not so much because of the amount but he thinks their delivery policy is unreasonable. He is now 'playing' with them - hope he doesn't want me to clear the space for them tonight!!

Anyway, after that little saga, I just thought I'd let you know Craftygranny that I think your parcel arrived today but postie took it back to sorting office & I'll get it tomorrow! Thank you!

Oap - Your parcel did get delivered THANK YOU so much for your generous swaps & lovely card - yours will be on the way shortly.

Gemma - your card ready to go tomorrow. I've got some tatty teddy images I can email if you'd like some - pm me your email addy. Anyone else would like some please do same. (I figure that way you can 'play' & resize them easier).

Rusty - love your cards! I have to put mine on here as I've not mastered putting them on my blog yet.

Rainmac - thank you for posting up my ATC on your blog - glad you liked it.

Flourgirl - I think the Trafford Centre is fabulous but as Skiergirl says very tiring. It's all indoors & has Selfridges, John Lewis, M & S x 2, Debenhams, Boots Smiths two BHS's (one clothes one furniture etc) Habitat, Next, Dwell Lakeland & loads of clothes & shoe shops coffee shops food outlets cinema etc etc. DH is not so keen so I only get taken about twice a year.

Sorry! hardly any of this post is about card making got a bit carried away............got to go there's a desk coming in.....
  • two new cards on my blog. Ive used my new circle punches and a digi image from here. What do you think.... click the pictures, I always find they are huge on my blog and have to resize them. Does anyone else find this?.
  • Gemm85 - love the My Minds Eye - Bella Bella - Bellezo Paper & Accessories Kit - think it may be on my wishlist too!

dawnteabag - loved the wedding cards.

Has anyone ever made any fabric wedding stationery? With beads and sequins? I have been asked to look into this, and wondered if any of you had any experience with it?
