rainmac - thanks for that...........remember seeing it now and I've got a bag that'll do the job. Want to do something different to yours though and can't think what other than filling it with notelets and stuff like that...........second thoughts........everyones having enough notebooks and stuff this year.............must think again..........
melissa - I'll try and put a heap of stuff together and take a photo...........have to be 'normal' one though so need to get another disposable camera and wait till the films finished..............and no guarantee - I'm c**p at photos...............lol And honest...........I've done nothing near as good as you lot...........mine aren't creations they're 'concoctions'.................:rotfl:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I meant to say a huge "thank you" to bunbun for my lovely tri-fold card, I received it yesterday. She also sent me another card and a fabulous post-it-note holder that is going to sit right next to my pc so that I can jot down all the cafty bargains that I want.0

Afternoon everyone. Well I've not long tuned in to QVC - what a great way to spend an afternoon! I can keep one eye on all the goodies and catch up with all the threads here. I'd better resist temptation as I succumbed to the other channel's POTW on Friday - ie the Flower Fairies Xmas Collection. Just checked and it's been dispatched. This is the first CD I've bought so looking forward to having a play around.
Hope everyone is doing OK - off to catch up now.

Hi smwtyn. I'm a very new poster here but I have got a Cuttlebug which I love because it embosses as well as die-cuts. I know you were specifically asking re. die-cutting which I'm sure some of the other ladies will help with. I'm still learning about everything too but it's great fun!

I keep looking at the cards here and just thinking 'how?' lol. I made all my own wedding stationery but had no idea about everything on here!

Did I dream it or is the current challenge scraps?
Hi swmtyn - I have a cuttlebug as well which I absolutely love - OH bought it for my birthday last year and is one of the things I use the most.
I cut my mats and layers the same way as flourgirl but use the imperial measurements as I find them easier to see -- I'm a leftie but have no trouble cutting now I have an x-cut guillotine but I use it with my right hand
Hugs to anyone feeling poorly - will post ATC and swing card (I'm sooooo grateful to Gemma!) when I go pick up DD from basketball before we go to swimming - Tuesdays are a nightmare!!!Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hi ladies, just doing a quick catch up - and having a bit of a panicky thick moment!!! When you talk about matting papers/cards etc(it mentions matting in mags as well). Is it just covering with your chosen patterned paper???0
