hels - thanks. I'll have to find rainmacs blog and have a look -I'm assuming its on there.

If your friend is a tea drinker -or even coffee-you could do a card along the lines of the tea bag holder with a verse in...........there's some about being miles away from each other.......think if you put 'ditties and verses' in the searchc box here the thread will come up with them on
    Just a thought
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Mary I've used the brown paper bags, same as Rainmacs advent one!

I really need your help ladies, My best mate is leaving for Oz next week forever, I keep putting of thinking about what to give her or what type of card to make, I've now only got a few days to prepare something..
She has already packed to go so I need to do something quite small, I was thinking along the lines of a small hamper filled with some mags, sweets, crosswords, coaster calender and a journal type book, what do you think?
Any idea's on what type of card to make? I've known her since I was little and I'm dreading her going I'm going to miss her loads. Any help would be greatly recieved! xx

Sounds lovely but i wouldnt put sweets in as she may not be allowed to take them in to oz there very funny about food going in. My mum lived there and she wasnt able to take a lot back with her may be best to cheek i also thought of a card like a tea bag holder card but again not sure if it would be ok

Hello everyone - have just started to update my blog with some of the things I've been making recently. Looks like my eyes are on the mend now - have another hospital appointment tomorrow but have managed my lenses for a few hours today - viion not quite up to scratch but hopefully should be back to normal soon - dwonside is that I suppose I'll have to return to work.
Have also uploaded of pic of my lace challenge pic on crafty place as well as a picture of the very generous stash sent by Cazarol as part of the stash swap. Blimey!
  • Hi all.
Just a flying visit (you haven't really seen me ).

I've added 2 cards to my blog for this challenge and the CCC one. I've been good and only crafted late at night when my eyes can no longer focus on the laptop screen.

In 10 days I'll either hand in my dissertation or not; so I'll either be graduating in November or next year in July. I've done about 1800 words out of 12-15 thousand. Still have to design a questionnaire, distribute it electronically, get 100 responses, carry out statistical analysis on those responses, and write them up with a meaningful conclusion and recommendations. :o

    Sorry haven't commented on anyone's situations/posts/cards - I'll be back soon (well, in 10 days - or 11 if hungover :p) x
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
