Hello ladies
I'm a bit behind with blogs - will try to catch up. I've been clicking on the odd one, but they're not all opening for me. What is is about blogs? It took me about an hour to get into my own one the other day.
I've made a card for the baby challenge (1st pic on the shiny new thread? If I finish typing quickly enough!). Here it is:
I think my mojo is slowly returning - it took me ages to make this card though. (Can you see where I dropped the ink pad on it?)
Rusty - hope ds gets better quickly. Isn't he going away soon?
rainmac - from the image I've built up of you, I don't imagine you as a worrier! I picture you as super-organised; I'm sure you'll be ready for your craft fair on time. (Does anyone else build up a mental image of how you imagine we all look/behave?)
Melissa - Can't wait to see more pics of baby Elliot. He's absolutely gorgeous.
bunbun - hope you have a good holiday.
mumhug - I'm glad your sis is feeling better, hopefully she can start to really enjoy the baby now.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
JHB your card is sooooo sweet!:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0

Gosh I haven't been here for a few days and there's a new thread and a new baby!
Congratulations Melissa! I've lost my mojo now and have put away all my craft things for a while. I have however just ordered another "mega box" from craft superstore and the swiss dots embossing folder using some loyalty points and the pc22 discount code so £21 in total! It comes with a Quickutz machine (or something like that anyway!) Haven't looked into that much so looking forward to seeing what it is!
I'm hoping that craft superstore will send my mojo in the box.
I hope everyone is well, I will catch up with the last of the other thread soon!Married 5th June 20101st Baby born 12th April 2011:j0 -
Salesadmin - hopefully your new purchases will help your mojo to return!
Jailhousebabe - lovely card - really cute! well done on posting the first card!!!!!
I can't remember who was asking about the flippin range (sorry), but this place has 25% off until Friday:

If I ever have any I'd prefer boys I think, they seem like less trouble! lol
Errr, no they're not less trouble but if you fancy checking out your theory I could send you my 2 monkeys for a few days:rotfl:
OH went out today with said monkeys to give me an hour or so to get on with a few of my craft fair bits and came back with a blinking xbox and Guitar Hero  Only about £260 worth of stuff
Cheers for the shiny new thread lovely savvy :A:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Fab baby card JHB and congratulations on it being first card on the lovely new thread!!!
For anyone wanting to join in, we are currently running a baby card challenge. You make a card and post a picture of it or link to it on this thread. The 2 week deadline is up on Monday night when I will pop everyone's name in a hat and pick a winner at random to win a small selection of bits and bobs. Then a new challenge will start on Tuesday. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
ooh a new thread, feels strange being on page 1 instead of a hundred and something!!
hope your DS gets better soon rusty, good luck for the Dr's
the wife - 5 girls!!!! what on earth did you let yourself in for! If I ever have any I'd prefer boys I think, they seem like less trouble! lol
Being a mum of 3 boys aged 19, nearly 14 and 10 ( going on 23)
I can assure you that boys are not easier :rotfl:furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Being a mum of one of each I can tell you both Rainmac and choccy are bit liars :rotfl:
Boys are soooooooooooo much easier and less difficult than girls ... I want to send my girly back and ask for another boy!
Thanks for all the kind wishes about DS ... he is asleep already bless him and doc said he has gastroenteritus!! I just hope he gets rid of it soon as we are off to legoland at the weekend!!

JHB beautiful card!
Glad to hear your DS is asleep, they do say sleep is the best healer
I know from experience with two boys that no two are the same. My DS2 can be downright evil and mardier than any girl I've ever met x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
