Hello everyone - just wanted to apologise for not sorting out the summer challenge for kids yet - I have been having loads of trouble with my eyes and can't really manage more than a few mins on pc an hour.
will be back as soon as I can.0 -
Just received my stuff from Joanna Sheene including the paper lace. I have just had a go at colouring it with promarkers and it works a treat0

Awh Flourgirl that's brilliant, I ordered the paper lace and about 8 pro markers! can't wait for them to come!:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0

Flourgirl - Thanks I was getting a bit paranoid about it! Can I please ask which paper lace it was you ordered I went looking for some (I'm a copycat) but could only see the paper that was printed with a lacy design. Is that it? it was very pretty.
Hels pm on the way.....
Dawnteabag - I've not entered challenge so it's not my place to say but I'm sure I speak for us all & say your eyesight is far more important - take care & hope you are soon better.

We did a bit of stamping with free seethrough stamps the other day that we got from the front of magazines. I got quite upset as the silly fairy ones just wouldn't stamp properly and I thought it was just me being really crud or something...until we tried this month's bear stamps from a magazine and they were *so* easy to stamp.....
So just to let you know if you are clueless for the most part like me... if there are free stamps on the front of a magazine have a feel.... the thick feeling ones are definitely The Ones To Get First hehe
...although I paid through the nose for some Smirk ones a few weeks ago... and I couldn't really get most of those to stamp well either.... so maybe it's that I'm crud at stamping *but* the free bear ones were being nice to me hehe
...who knows:j A-well-a bird, bird, bird...b-bird's the word :j0 -
myz i had that problem with some expensive stamps i bought from funky kits tried loads of inks and nothing worked not 1 decent image. Bought a jet black Impress ink pad think it was recommended by melissa and they stamp like a dream every time with that. Very strange.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
