  • Good morning, hope everyone is well. :)
As it's freebie friday, I thought I'd remind everyone that Dustin Pike does freebies every Wednesday. If you scroll down the page there are links to past months' posts where you can access older freebies.
Off to walk the dogs now, then back to the research x
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
  • Hello everyone,

I'm a few days behind but will catch up when I get back, am off to Scotland today to do my charity zip wire. My mum is sponsoring us extra if we wear kilts, so we'll just HAVE to do a bit of shopping while we're there...

The weather is going to be horrible, who'd of thought it would rain in Scotland lol.

Speak to you all next week,

    Lucy x
  • Lucy Lu - good luck with the zip wire- hope you're not too chilly!

Sorting out boys clothes today - it's sunny but chilly so I'm reviewing all the long trousers and winter clothes. You can guarantee that all the stuff I kept from Jamie will be the wrong season for Ewan and I'll still end up buying loads!
  • Polly - hope you feel a bit better today - your nephew's card is fabulous - what a sweetie he is!

Flourgirl - gorgeous creations!! I love how the pens match the papers that you've used! Thanks for the freebie link!

Rusty - hope everything gets sorted at the doctors today.

Paddingtondoo - thanks for the links, I'm hoping to use some of my new mme papers today and make a card.

Lucy Lu - good luck for today - you are brave!!!

    Morning Ladies

I was only missing a few hours and it took me so long to catch up last night it was too late to reply........so apologies if this is overlong or I miss anyone......

Rusty - Blimey! thought I'd had a bad day yesterday 'til I read your post - what a shame - I had that done to me years ago & they've put a mini roundabout at that junction now!!! Seriously, please tell the doc, not just for treatment today but in case you get problems later. It's good that you got a courtesy car (((Hugs)))

Mumhug - Hope you are OK - and your OH, I do think men cope so differently to us.

Flourgirl - your stuff on your blog is amazing - can you tell me about the 'poinsetta'? Is it a rub on? can you say what make?
Flourgirl & Furry - The Works near me had the mini calendars but they were 15p if it helps.

Padster - Well Done on your win! Those cross cut guilotines make my fingers cringe - I can't watch bacon slicers either - I nearly passed out in the butchers once years ago! Glad you are feeling a bit better.

Melissa - I like the recommendation of Brandy for shock 1 bottle or 2?? As long as it's with dry ginger - served neat it reminds me of being poorly as a child when 'indian' brandy was a standard remedy.

Welcome back Dawnteabag - good for you catching up so quickly - on here AND washing I'm impressed!

Polly - glad you're feeling better what a cute nephew! (the card's good too)
  • cgc - we're going on Saturday - but promise I'll leave some stuff for you - am hoping the magazine stall has some great offers again - got a set of hero arts large word stamps for a fiver a couple of years ago!

I have managed to remove some skin with my guillotine :o DD has been banned from using it.

Off to craft now - have made a list of everything I need to make today - only 6 cards  plus other bits - may be some time - am gonna use some of my new freebie images :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
