Gosh Rusty - hope you or Maddison don't get any delayed reactions. How are you both now?

Flourgirl - beautiful items on your blog - it's quite addictive making them isn't it?

Welcome back Dawnteabag - just you forget about that washing - there's crafts to catch up on!

Giggles - your reindeer food is sooo cute! My children absolutely loved it last year.

Polly - cute card and cute nephew!

Sally and Mumhug - special hugs to you both.

Popkins - your list made me tired!

WAM73 - your blog ityems are lovely - I must do some co-ordinating sets.

Craftygranny - your craft room is amazing - and I thought I had a lot of stash!

Padster - congrats on your win:T

Quick question - does anyone have any/seen any circle sentiments, where the words go round in a circle rather than horizontal words in a circle iykwim? Ta muchly!
  • Mrs Tidge - are these what you mean? You can resize them and change the colours
Plus they're free - lots of other freebies on there as well :D
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Sorry I didn't post earlier - got held up at work.

Congratulations Sales Admin on winning the stitching challenge.

I've volunteered to run the next challenge thanks to Hamish222 who has been making Christmas cards to send to our forces overseas so they can send them back home to relatives and friends. I don't suppose there's a Clintons in Afghanistan!!

I thought we could all make a Christmas Card and instead of using it for yourself you could post it on here or your blogs then send it to me and I will forward them in bulk to the lady organising the send out to the forces.

I will offer a prize in the usual 'random pick' way. Obviously the challenge is for one Christmas card but if you make & send more than one I will put your name in the hat more than once!

Here is part of the reply the lady sent me about any restrictions that might apply because they are being shipped overseas.

"No real limitations re size as long as they stay within 'normal card size'. Embellishments are good but must not be too bulky, as with decoupage.
Verses are good it is entirely a matter for the individual.

Yes other cards will also be very welcome, I usually send loads for Valentines Day, Mothers and Fathers Day and all year round I try to send a variety of birthday, anniversay and get well cards".

So, in brief, the challenge is:

Make and donate a Christmas Card.

    Any questions please ask.

I'm deffo up for this - my sister is in Helmand for the next 6 months and she's already commented on the non-availability of cards - my nephew got a telegram for his 3rd birthday!

Flourgirl, beautiful creations on your blog, love your challenge Christmas card x

dawnteabag, great to see you back :T

Sal, so sorry to hear of everything going on with your family. Bet you don't know if you're coming or going some days x

Rusty, oh no, hope you and Maddison are ok, you need to get as much rest as possible. So sorry too that you had to cancel your scan but good to hear you've been able to re-book. Good luck at the doctors tomorrow xxx

Mel, so sorry Elliot is being hardwork during the day, I remember doing almost everything during the day with Thomas attached to me, very draining but it doesn't last forever x Hope you can come to the NEC!!!

Polly, love your nephew's very pink card, it's brilliant :j

sunrise, yep we're going on about the Hobbycrafts show at the NEC in November, some of us are hoping to meet up and shop/look together on the friday. Do you fancy it? :D

Rainmac, you can say that again! I just wish I was able to jump in the car and drive round the corner to help out, but it's about 400 miles away!
