My girls are back at school today and seem to be coping well with the bad news so far (not sure it has really sunk in). My mil has her best friend and sister with her so they are out sorting things out. Hubby has gone to work as he cant handle sitting around,so I am here on my own twiddling my thumbs. I am going to see is I have enough ink to print some images to colour. need to do something

I have just called the clinic ... I was right, they said no children so I had to cancel and re book it. My new date is 18th September which is a Friday and OH will get his 45 hours done in 4 days then come home on the thursday night so I can go and not have to worry about childcare! I even remembered to call the doctors and have an appointment tomorrow :eek:

It is a shame you have had to re-book yor scan but at least this way you know dd will be in good hands and oh will be there to look after you if you feel rough afterwards. Glad you got it sorted anyway.

Morning Everyone

Sorry I've not been around often lately, just wanted to pop on and say how much I love everything that you've all been making, everything looks fab!

I've been going back and forward back to Scotland lately, as my Mum has had a couple of mini strokes and then last night I had a phone call to say my brother has had one too!! It's really difficult because I live so far away from them, and very frustrating because I can't just jump in the car and go there, because of work and other committments like kids being at school/college etc.

My brother was originally diagnosed with Fronto Temporal Dementia a while back, so this is all he needs and he's only 70!

I've been itching to get back to crafting too, but just haven't got the time at the moment for obvious reasons.

When I do get some time, is there a thread somewhere with all the links to freebies, bargains, tutotorals etc that I can find in one place at all?

Anyway, enough of me rambling, just wanted to say hello to you all and wish you all well. Sorry to hear about your FIL Mumhug.

Rusty Glad you have sorted your scan out and your Doctors appointment lets hope they get you sorted out pretty quick.

SallyUK Sounds like you have a lot on at the moment, I know how you feel about being a long way from your family especially when they could do with your help. I'm sending you and your family lots of good wishes. Take care of yourself xx

Popkins How many pairs of hands do you have? lol Please don't stress about sending my tri fold card. To be honest I found it out of my comfort zone too! Trouble is I cant resist a challenge. Pity who gets my swing card though
