Have loads of fun with your Bug :D

so exciting - can't wait to get started but the whole house is like a bombsite - with all my crafty stuff in just about every room!! Also stopped in at Asda last night & picked up some notepads, post-its, pens & also some mini pencils which were cute & could maybe be for notepads I do for kids? Just waiting for my coasters to arrive and don't know what to do first!!! Between that and using my Bug!! LOL!

Also just did a tally up of my order from Artymiss and it totalled to £70 incl P&P & VAT but proper price would have been £290 excl VAT so surely my hubby will see what a bargain it is - right? ;):D

Padster - that made me laugh!!! I'm really not allowed to play with it yet!!! I'm in the middle of about a hundred things (well not exactly 100 but you know what I mean - it feels like it with started projects & stash everywhere)

Trifold card for Flourgirl - EEEK EEK EEK - 2 have already gone in the bin!! Don't think me & tri-fold cards get on!! grr!
Nappycake & Card for my SIL who gave birth to Gorgeous George on Sunday - need to have it done for Sunday!
Wedding Hamper - ordered by my soon to be SIL for her Sis who is getting married in couple of weeks!
Hen Hamper & Hen Photo album - again ordered by my soon to be SIL for her Sis (joint) hen night NEXT week!!
Hen Photo album - from me to my soon to be SIL for her hen night next week!!
Wedding Acceptance card - deadline end of next week!

there are a couple of others but I've forgotten them - only momentarily you understand!!!

LOL!!! If I seem a bit 'manic' please excuse me LOL cos I didn't get any sleep last night!!! I may well fizzle out by lunchtime!! SORRY FOR MASSIVE POST!!! x

oooh just remembered others - they're VERY important actually!!!

Wedding Towel Cake & photo album for friends getting married 17th Sept - still need to buy ribbons & flowers!!
Wedding Towel Cake / Hamper / Photo album for my Bruv & my soon to be SIL getting married in Maritius beginning of October!!

Bizwah me? Nah!!! Oh me gawd think I've taken on a bit much!!! Right I'm off to get ship shape!!

Do what I do - hide it all before he gets home :rotfl:.

Is really miserable here today but need to go out - then I'm going to craft after I've hidden the hoover so I can't use it :rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

The wife - The challenge ends 'officially' on Tuesday for the draw purposes but I wont be sending them all off for a few days after that so no panic just let me know how many to expect or post them on here so you get entered.

CGC - Well done on your challenge win!

I'd also like to know how you get the corners so neat on the beermat calendars please? Do you cover back & front separately & trim neatly or do you 'wrap' the beer mat? Might try some for the Scout Xmas Fair.

Good to hear about more Lefties....

JHB - Just reading the potential title of your dissertation fills me with terror.....but if I can help in any way as 'guinea pig' or proof reading just ask.

Thank you for getting back to me, Marg, I'll get some piccies done tonight when I get home 'cos as you can see I am extremely busy at at work!

Then I'll ge them posted to you tonight.

:D:D:D cheesey grins 'cos my new metric scor-pal has just arrived, no more cutting off pieces of card to make it fit imperial sizes.

    A happy Essex bunny!!! :D

  • craftygranny - fab birthday card, I am so jealous you have a craft room - it looks so well organised!!!!! Kaitlyn's card ia amazing too!!!!

Paddingtondoo - I'm really tempted to get the bloom and wild asparagus pads - its nice having a change to my basic grey! Congratulations on winning the challenge!!

Giggle - love the packaging of your reindeer food!

Popkins - crikey what did you buy at Artymiss?? That's a long list of stuff you've got to do!!!

Paddingtondoo - have you got any other ranges by mme????

Rusty - I'll have to get a vanilla promarker now - I've got a few forever friends stamped images but I've never been able to find the right colour for the bears - yours look perfect! I have to confess I have never used a craft knife even though I bought one at the n.e.c!!!

Blame Rainmac, she mentioned vanilla for bears in a post a few pages ago when JHB asked what colours were best. Last night was the first time I gave the vanilla a go and I was so pleased. :) Are you coming to the NEC this time?? I would love to meet you/.

Paddingtondoo - Well done on your win

Wlam - I am now following your blog, some lovely things on there.

Giggle - Where is the reindeer from? is it just a Die?

Popkins - Woohoo I bet you are so excited about your bug arriving!! however I don't like the long list which you have on your to do list!!! Hope you get sorted!! I feel guilty for giving you the password to the crafty stash .... I am guessing that didn't help with you going to sleep.

Bunbun - Lucky you I wish I could craft all day!! ... I have to go to cramlington and then into Blyth!! I don't want to, I want to craft all day!! I was tempted to start again about midnight last night but ended up going to bed instead!

TheWife - Where did you get it? I have a scoring board and I am forever losing the pen for it! :rotfl: I barely use it but when I do use it I am glad I have it if that makes sense!

Well OH gave me a fab Idea for a christmas card last night which I want to try and do today, I have remembered that I have some notepads upstairs so I need to check them to make sure they are the right kind to make the little notepads you are all making!

I remembered last night that I promised JHB and also slyphraven some gorjuss girls and some magnolias so I need to do some more stamping, and I also need to do a couple of different stamps for someone else!! ....

Rainmac, your parcel will definately be in the post today with your little prize in there (hope you like it?)
Marg, Paddingtondoo - I am hoping to get yours in the post today but I remembered I never did you no smirks or the hello stamps so if DD lets me go (she has a thing for demanding cuddles all day and night at the most inconvenient times but she is so cute I refuse to say no!) then I will get them done this morning! .....
Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists
  • Rusty - you just reminded me to go and buy the vanilla pen - thanks!!! I don't know yet whether I'll be coming to the N.E.C yet - it would be fab to meet everyone!!

Rusty, you can get it from here , I think so far they are the only importer of the metric version. I know it's expensive but for me I love my imperial board but i know I'm gonna love this one even more 'cos I don't have to cut bits off the ends of A4 pages. Also, on the Scor-pal web site there loads of gorgeous projects to make with the metric version. Kitty Franken comes up with some fabby ideas.
