well done on the win cg
So sorry about your mews mumhug.
All updates on your blogs are so lovely.
Can I just ask how you all get nice corners on your coasters. I'm not too good with a craft knife but that's what i've been trying with.
I'm a leftie as well!!!
xxWould love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)0 -
Rusty a couple of quick questions???
Did u colour in the forever friends images with promarkers as the colouring is fab?? Also the glitter is amazing is it a special one?? I know there are loads of different kinds including some very fine ones esp for card making etc etc. Thanks xxx

Mumhug - I'm so sorry to hear about your Father in law I guess you will all be feeling quite numb. Hang on to the fact that he wont be suffering anymore to help you through. My thoughts are with you and your family x0

[STRIKE]How many lefties is that all together?[/STRIKE]
Goes for shorter list - how many of you write with the wrong hand? :rotfl:.
Well done CG - fabby card and great sketch to work from might use it for something tomorrow - I like the simple ones then I can use my loud papers.
I don't know where you get the energy from Rusty - I hate glitter - had been glitter embossing this afternoon - DD asked me why I was all sparkly when I was in the chemist - had already been in the doctors.
I love my mind's eye Melissa - surprised me as I don't do basic grey -***runs and hides as craft knives are thrown at her***
Got my craft knife out this afternoon to cut round some stamps I needed to mount on EZ mount and still have all my fingers - might brave some real cutting eventually.
Can someone post me a link to the tri shutter card thingy - the gorgeous one that Alii sent to Rainmac - fancy giving it a go for my mum's birthday she'll be 80  so need something a bit different.
Forgotten what else I was going to say - thank goodness I hear :rotfl::rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hi Furry,
I coloured the images in my promarkers I only used 3 colours, vanilla, poppy and holly. I love my promarkers!! as you can probably tell.
The glitter was just a bottle I picked up from papermill shop on sundaythis is quite fine.

The wife - The challenge ends 'officially' on Tuesday for the draw purposes but I wont be sending them all off for a few days after that so no panic just let me know how many to expect or post them on here so you get entered.
CGC - Well done on your challenge win!
I'd also like to know how you get the corners so neat on the beermat calendars please? Do you cover back & front separately & trim neatly or do you 'wrap' the beer mat? Might try some for the Scout Xmas Fair.
Good to hear about more Lefties....
JHB - Just reading the potential title of your dissertation fills me with terror.....but if I can help in any way as 'guinea pig' or proof reading just ask.0 -

Lefties hahaha I think you are all just cack handed!!! OH is a lefty and so is DS ... although I find it easier to help DS write and pass him things with him being a lefty ... DD I think will be a righty although I pass her things like I would DS which is very bizarre!!
RE the beer mats, I do one side then use a craft knife to trim the edges then turn it over do the same on the other side and then add calender and embellishments. If you struggle with a craft knife I know some people (Melissa?) use the small nail scissors? ....
Paddingtondoo - Why are you using a craft knife to cut stamps?? I used scissors the other day to trim my magnolias! and they were fineRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Mumhug sorry to hear about your FIL - I hope you're holding up ok.
Ooh even better just checked trainline and I can get there in under an hour at the total cost of £6.60 with my student card! What time is everyone looking to arrive/leave? I'm going to see if I can get the Friday off work then just need to check with OH if he wants to keep me company. x
p.s. I'm right-handed! My brother is the only leftie in our whole family lol0 -
