  • well one louby on your craft fair- i don't think i could cope with people 'assessing' things i had made in such an open way! will you do another one?

Oh yeh i will def do more, i have done a few this year but this one was the best by far, You can never predict how well your going to do. You can be in a fantastic location/ setting and do very badly or go to a field like this weekend in the middle of no where and do really well. It did help that there was another card stand and she was selling hers for more than i was charging and they weren't in cello bags. It's quite hard to find out about craft fairs then when you do they are fully booked.

Well, I stamped 2 things on a card yesterday without a mess so I'm well chuffed but it leads me to want some 'proper' stamps (these were small freebies from the front of a magazine).

I've never done successful stamping & colouring before so want to start cautiously. To help me decide which stamps to go for........

........ the question is: If you had to save only one stamp from your collection (in the face of whatever disaster scenario you prefer) which would it be & why?

    Thank you for any suggestions.

    Well done Marg :D .....

If I had to save just one stamp then it would have to be my inkadinkadoo stamp which I ordered from america (thanks THE WIFE) which I used on this card for Hels. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9ChVL61c9a0/SoZocHJxQpI/AAAAAAAAASc/z10on0fBxiM/s1600-h/DSCN3486.JPG

Not really sure why? probably because it is just a general stamp which you can always use? I regret buying some of my magnolias  even some of the new ones I regret already and I am thinking of selling them already

Oh my what a difficult question.

Think it would have to be this teddy stamp which I use loads but I do use this butterfly loads as well.

I agree with you Rusty - I have bought lots on a whim that I haven't used but now try and get a specific project in mind before buying anything (even if it's a bargain) am glad I resisted the Magnolias although the bear is very cute :D.

I've been buying stamped images and digistamps instead - have you seen the new Pollycraft ones?

  • Hels - well done on making a brave decision - let us know what your boss says.

Marg - I love my Stampin Bellas(Cosmobella) - but you can only get them from the US. Like Padster I'm really in to digi stamps - Pink Petticoat and Pollycarft are my favs

  • Hels You have gone with your heart, which is often a good thing. As you have said you have alot going on over the next few months ;) I do think though that you should remember that they gave you the job as they thought you would be best for the job. So please dont let your nerves get the better of you, when you decide to go for something again... They had faith in you.. So you need to try and have some in yourself xxx As i said though you do have alot going on, Planning a wedding is NOT easy !
