I made a lovely christmas card last night and ruined it by not concerntrating and getting ink all over the front!

Well girls as most of you know I am supposed to be starting my new job in October I made a decision last night I'm going to decline the job, I'm supposed to be in for training today and it's worried me sick allweekend and I came to a point last night where I just burst out crying, I can't believe how little confidence I have in my working abilities, anyway I just don't think the job is right for me at the moment, my family & wedding are more important (can you see I'm trying to justify my decision!)

Aww held, everything seems scary at first, I'm sure they woulndt have offered you the job unless they thought you could do it! What does it involve if you don't mind me asking? Could you try a bit of training and see how you go maybe? It seems a shame for you not to go for it now you've got it!!

Hi Gemm I would have been a database analyst slightly different to what I do now, I've sent an e-mail to my boss explaining how I feel, I know I'll probably regret it later on I think I just hate change!

Hels sometimes you have to go with what your heart tells you. Ask yourself if you could give yourself 110% to your new job knowing how exciting the next few months will be for you as you plan this most important day for you. If you know you could juggle both, then go for it.

The wife, no I couldn't give it 110% my family and wedding plans are so much more important, I'm not very good at dealing with stress and the thought of having stress in work fills me with dread. I know I've made the right decision for myself. x

Big hugs Hels for being honest with yourself :j. There's nowt worse than getting up in the morning and hating your job everything suffers. The last thing you need is to be up worrying about work you have far more important things to be worrying about Mrs!:rotfl:

I had another really good day at my craft fair yesterday, It was the best day for selling and fingers crossed i get tons of orders. although i already have 4 nappy cakes ordered for nov. i think i will do them sooner rather than later as bit close to my due date and i want to rest and enjoy it.
Going to put some pics up on my blog of the craft fiar today but i bought a loads of these for the craft fair but no one bought any they cost me only £1 so if anyone wants any that's what they are plus postage i have a load for myself so i won't use all these.
I was tying to have the pics like a flicker album where they scroll through them automatic but i couln't fiqure out how to do it.

think i have just mamage to enter 1 card into 4 challenges- is that a record? one is a bit dodgy but worth a try! it is on my blog!

well done hels on making your brave choice-i on't envy you but your wedding is the thing to focus on so you can enjoy the day and then forever afterwards!

well one louby on your craft fair- i don't think i could cope with people 'assessing' things i had made in such an open way! will you do another one?

Aw Hels I'm sorry you've been worrying about the new job and I for one think you are being very brave for giving backword. In someways it would have been soo easy to go ahead now & then make yourself ill with the stress when it was too late. So 'Well Done' for having the courage of your convictions. This way they can get their second choice in soon enough. I presume you can stay in your current job?

All that said, remember for when you haven't got as much going on in the rest of your life - They must have had confidence in your abilities to give you the job.

Onwards & upwards now to the Wedding (((Hugs)))
