Hello all :j
Feeling much better but still taking it steady..........managed to do two little 'envelopes' to stick inside teenage grandkids easter cards -I'll give them some money this year -and after a lot of effort I made an easter bunny !!! Pale blue flannel and inside I put a box of mini eggs (box was little one I covered with pretty paper) -managed to find enough pale blue ribbon, goggle eyes and brown felt nose with whiskers stuck underneath it...........wasn't sure what I'd get for sons girlfriend then found a chocolate scented candle upstairs, wrapped some yellow cello round it and popped chicked on the top. All fitted into a cappacino box I'd covered -grandsons bunny is in same thing, different paper.............so easter is sorted :j
OH thinks I'm barmy to do it so soon but surprising how quick it'll roll round.
Going to try printer once more to see if a good nights sleep might make the ink work.............lol:rotfl: Bet it won't
flourgirl -big hugs to you and your familyxxxxxxx
rusty - you're making me really want to start my scrapbooks............now if I can get this ink...........oh, maybe nuff said ..............:(
Hugs to anyone I've missedI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

quickly sneaking on to say hi before I have to go be a good girl and make cakes to say sorry to OH!
I did a bit of ebay shopping last night (couldn't sleep again) and saw 10 twining everyday individually wrapped tea bags for 3.99 free P&P and thought why not, I'll make some presents for the family. Then OH came storming in the room earlier asking why I bought 1000 tea bags for 39.99! I'm in so much trouble lol!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Well, at least you can tell your hubby that you put a smile on my face today
Saucy - I used to do all my crafting on my bed (backing paper of DST got everywhere, and managed to stain a new quilt cover when I didn't put a promarker lid on properly ). I hope you feel better soon x
Melissa - I'm lecturing on ICT Law - something I've never actually studied before, so lots of reading involved too! Today I'm marking assignments from first-year undergraduates on Computer Design and Usability.
To those who haven't found my new blog yet (you're not missing much, lol) - click on my name then go to my homepage xsome people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

Oh I'm sorry but that really did make me chuckle. If you can't back out of the sale I could probably buy some off you - I need 60 or so for Granny's tea party invites0 -
Hiya, pnor  across the pond there. Shame about the MS board, my DIL is looking out for one in Canada, she's got her coupon and ready and waiting for it but no sign yet.
Don't forget to check out the dollar stores too when you're shopping, I picked up loads of stuff when I was in Texas, there was quite a few glue tape runners that jumped in every crevice in my case.
I've had the enveloper board but don't worry about the big crafters companion best advice is to save your pennies and look on line, how long are you over there for?
Hiya - I'm her till end of March. The Michaels nearest to me is not a huge one and they don't seem to be able to order in for me and they don't do online ordering either.
I had seen the Top Scorer at Jo-anns online for $11.99 plus shipping, usual price is $19.99 and it looked ok for the price. I would still like the MS one but her stuff is not stocked in many places and it is not even in her online shop!
There is a 99c shop opening up nearby but not sure whether that will be whilst I am here but that looks quite big so might be good for craft stuff!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
That bread looks lovely Flourgirl (you rebel you!) - feels like I'm strangely 'stalking you' now as I've just blogged our swap too! I was so glad you put in some of the paisley paper you used on the post it holder - I was immediately drawn to it!0

Glittermum I have made a card already with your papers and I'm going to enter it into JHB Mothers Day challenge and I think its Allsorts who are having a Mothers Day one. Will put it on my blog tomorrow.
The paisley papers are Dovecraft Retro Floral.0
