  • Just a quick update . Carly had her second one switched on today and can hear really loud noises . She goes for it tweaking next week then she'll pick up a few more sounds.
Alicia is not faring so well she had her bolts put in her head ready for her proton radiotherapy that went well but the doctor decided she needs another mri scan before they do anything else and it will take a week or two for the results so looks like she'll be there 10 weeks now. Her brothers are coming to stay with us tomorrow for a few days .

Oh Craftygranny, must be so hard for Alicia's family for her to be in the US for 2 more weeks than originally planned, thinking of you all and willing the time to pass quickly. Fab exciting news for Carly xxx

All this talk of lovely papers - has anyone ever used etsy - only because I ended up there last night - not sure how - and saw some lovely crate paper and the design was gorgeous similar to the robots one - but its all in dollars so panicked and left then tried to find it on english web sites and couldnt find it it didnt have a name of the range though - but if anyone can advise if etsy is ok might be tempted to order - never ordered from abroad before. (led a sheltered life!! ahem)
Also did anyone have any luck downloading the freebies rainmac posted - I have yet to try again??

Couple more makes on my blog (linky under name)

I think I have that range from crate paper - it's called orbit and you should be able to get it in the uk - I got mine from Sarah's cards I think

Ali.b - I've got a couple of sheets of the orbit papers too - I can't remember where I got them from - you can get a collection pack of them too.

Sally - fabulous nappy cake - love the flowers!!

PepPop - your baby shoes are gorgeous - I love the pink flower at the side with the shiny brad.

Craftygranny - that's great news about Carly - I'm sorry things haven't been going as well with Alicia but she's in the best possible hands.

Madfrog - what Oct Afternoon papers did you end up getting?
