I thought I would post a few of the cards I have made. These have been made in the last year. I haven't had much chance recently to make much but hopefully that will change!!!

  • I have really dumb question that I hope someone will answer for me (I've only made one card and have only used rubber stamps for heat embossing and imprinting in clay etc (not for producing an image to colour in).... so forgive my ???'s) :o..........I have a gorgeous digi stamp freebie that I want to use, but I'm not sure what to print it on.I printed it out earlier on ordinary printer paper, which was ok but not brilliant. So (finally) here's my question - what paper/card should I use for digi printing? Also, what does everyone else stamp onto when using rubber stamps for producing an image to make a card with? TIA

I'm loving all the makes on everyones blogs, but seriously struggling to keep up!

Sorry to bump, but can anyone help, please?

I think I mentioned a few months ago that we've teamed up with a very talented photographer and he is allowing us to use some of his photos on our cards
these are two that I've made today for a customer
this is his website if anyone wants to have a look

I use a 160gsm paper from Staples or the thinish linen look card which I get from the Paper Mill Shop. It depends on what paper/card your printer will accept, try some thin card and see how it goes
  • wanna-b-rich - I use a cheap pack of card that I got from Wilkinsons, it doesn't have a weight printed on it and is not a very 'white' white IYKWIM. It fits through the printer so it's good for digi-images. I've got some heavier, whiter card that doesn't fit in the printer so I use it for stamping, can't remember where I got it from though. I know a few of the ladies on here buy card from Rymans or Staples, I'm sure they'll be able to tell you if it fits in their printers okay.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

    Hello all!

I haven't been around for a while so I thought i'd pop in and see how my girls are doing :) I see there's loads more maniacs in here now.. can barely move ;)

I've been so busy with work that I haven't even updated my blog lately but i'm just rennovating the little craft nook and hopefully when it's finished there'll be no stopping me!

So how have you all been? What you been creating? I'd love to see what you've all been up to lately!

I had a little fiddle with the Creative Craft World logo last night and come up with a new blog:

    http://creativecraftworld.blogspot.com

What do you think? I'd love to hear your feedback.

The owner is running a 20% off discount and free P+P right now but I have asked if we can have a promo code in the future for MSE Cardmakers! I'll keep you updated!

She's just uploaded some spotty Primas and Bazzill up and is waiting on some metallic colours of bazzill as well so I can't wait to check that out but i'm trying to be good for the TSV on QVC.. I'm definitely having both options and no doubt a stack loads more things during the day... and them Tim Holtz on 23rd! My wages are well and trully spent this month ;)

What you use to print out on completely depends on the type of media you will be using to colour in the image. I love Rymans white coated card 5.99 for 50 sheets and is very smooth which means you can colour beautifully with any pens.

    HTH ;)

  • Thank you flourgirl, Jailhousebabe and Pinladymel I will try some of the card I have here and see what works. If none of it does then at least I know some places to try for card that does work. Off to play now, I'm all excited:D
