Fantastics news Craftygranny - with best wishes and fingers and toes crossed, that she responds really well to the treatment, and doesn't find it too traumatic xx

Hey everyone thanks for advice and hugs, feeling a bit better now :)
OH said he'll get me some coloring pens for Valentines day for digi stamps etc I was wondering if these were any good?

I went to the Creative Stiches & Hobbycraft Show on Friday and there was a lady demonstrating them. However, she was putting the ink onto a palette and using them as water colours. They were amazing for this technique, but not so good when used directly from the pen iyswim. I ended up buying a couple of sets of Promarkers and can see why everyone loves them so much!! I do have to confess though that I was so taken with the watercolour painting that I am going back today and may purchase a set of the ones you're asking about (they were on offer for £29.99).

I'm reading the thread backwards atm so if I haven't yet thanked anyone I will once I get to your post. Got to dash as I've got to hop in the shower and be ready to leave at 7:45 and just noticed it's 7:11:eek:.
  • Craftygranny what wonderful news. I'll be keeping everything crossed that all goes well.

Thanks FLourgirl - those ones are great too, Ithink I'll use a mixture. I wouldn't have thought about photobucket at all!

Thanks for that watercolour tip. I have whispers, they do for me as I don't colour in that often, nice to know there's another technique though.

I made a decision to get a big shot. :D Mum's given me money for my birthday and I'm blowing the lot of craft stuff. What was the website where they did great deals on die cuts (alphabets) before Christmas? And when is it likely that they'll have another sale?

Craftygranny Thats brilliant news :j:T I wish her well and pray for a speedy recovery. I'm sending lots of virtual hugs for her and the family, it will be an anxious time for them all. Please keep us informed of her progress (((((((((((((xxxxx)))))))))))))))

Helping-hubby I think you mean the Sizzix Sale if you sign up for the newsletter they will email you when the sales are on. Be quick to order though and don't be dissapointed if you dont get them. A lot of people have been complaining the had too little stock and too many orders. £4.95 postage too. Crafts U Love sometimes have alphabets and odd dies in their sales, and now and again they have free shipping
The currently have the Lemonade Alphabet in the sale for £19.99. For alphabets I use the quickutz self adhesive Bazzil card they sell in packs it means you dont have to mess about with glue on the fiddly bits of letters.
