Very cute basket SUnrise - just my colour!

Sorry to post again on this but still after some Aston Villa paper if anyone can remember where it was - I'm searching this and the last thread but it's heavy going!

Thanks all - have a great Saturday night - takeaway and wine for me tonight! (if I can face it after emptying the lunchobx that I hurriedly threw to DS1 just before he threw up in the car!)

Here's some I found on Photobucket:

Oh no, your poor DS and poor you for having to clear up!

Sorry I have no idea about Aston Villa paper but would suggest contacting Saveapenny.

Like your purple basket Sunrise, you didn't close your sides up as much as I did, it makes the basket look quite different. I think £1.50 is a bargain with a few chocs in. I was thinking of making them for Easter for my boys' teachers and pre-school ladies with a couple of cream eggs on top of some tissue paper.

Hiya - that's lovely, did you follow instructions from the web or from a book??? Looks very professional.

I've just come out to the US for 2 months - was here last Nov/Dec time so stocked up on lot of stuff then. I'm sure there will be more that I can manage to find a use for though!!!!

I have followed this thread for ages but haven't made much lately. You make some fab things though.:T

Hello, come join in, would love to see some of your makes x

That's so cute Sunrise! I wish I knew how to make one!

Hey everyone thanks for advice and hugs, feeling a bit better now :)
OH said he'll get me some coloring pens for Valentines day for digi stamps etc I was wondering if these were any good?

The basket is dead easy to make, there's a fab tutorial here.

So glad you are feeling a bit better, please do talk to us, lots of us have has kiddies and can relate to how you're feeling ;)

I bought some Whispers pens and found them quite hard to use without showing streaks (like felt tips) so started with some Promarkers and have stuck with them.

I have some of those, had them a few years now and hardly used them. As rainmac says, they do show streaks. Posh double ended felt tips really, sounds a bit harsh but that's how I think of them. I haven't used Promarkers but from the colouring I've seen on cards the girls on here do with Promarkers then there's no competition! Obviously the Docrafts ones are much cheaper but you wont get the same look.

Hi everyone, I'm just about keeping up. I've spent today making a start on DD 40th survival kit so that's coming on, she's also got a wedding anniverysary in a week's time so started a card for that, did a card for my mom in hospital and stupidly forgot to photograph it so I can't show it on my blog.

Sunrise Your basket is lovely :T.

Glittermum OMG, I love those punches! Mind you, I'd want the two sizes so you're talking £20+ so I might just stick to the Prima flowers for now.

Many thanks for that - will have a go at some stage!!!

I haven't made many cards but will post a few ones that I have done soon!!!

sunrise - what a super basket - that'll look lovely filled with little eggs I think

Racking my brain trying to think of bits and bobs to put in sons shoe box for his birthday in April..........he's grown up now but still likes 'silly' bit............long as they're not too silly................lol

Might ask OH.............see if he can come up with something...........so far I've got a book, posh photo album, little box I covered and popped some notepaper in and if I ever get down the town I'm going to see if I can have my water colours reduced to coaster size........be easier than painting them smaller -I think
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
