Tesco Buy £1 Apples Get 50 ClubCard Points Extra

Same as soolin.
I bought champage recently, worked out cheaper to buy decent bottle as getting 800 points. Points we not added on at check out. I went to customer services, they called the award line.
I was told the points would be added manually at a later date. Am still waiting for the points to appear, a week has now passed. I may ring them tomorrow.
The points should have shown as offer points but because this is a rollover period as reward vouchers are due it wont yet show on the running total. I should go back to the store and insist they add the 800 points as they are not telling you the truth. However if the offer is not still on you may have a problem.0 -
ok
people here's the deal
If Tesco tell you that it takes THREE weeks or whatnot for the points to be added they're LYING. This is just another tactic for them to PASS the BUCK and to NOT give the points you should be getting
at the end of every transaction you make, at the bottom, there is ALWAYS the ClubCard Transaction! which states how many points you DO have and how many points will be added to the current total after 48 hours after your shopping.
BUT the points are added THERE AND THEN alright. all this talk of "yeh it'll be added later" DO NOT TAKE THAT AS AN ANSWER. DEMAND them to be put on because when we bought the Torres when 900 points were being added, at the bottom of the receipt NINE HUNDRED points were added there. If it's not written there in black and white that you will receive the points, that means you're not gonna get em. so go to CS and DEMAND they put it on coz otherwise, there is NO way you will get em.
what happened with us is that, we bought 2 bags of APples (Granny) at the Brent Cross Tesco (there you don't have to buy two..you can buy one pack but my bro likes to eat a few apples a day so we bought two)
when we went to the till and received the receipt, we noticed that the 100CP we sHOULD have gotten, were not added on. Went to CS to which they said "oh it should take 48hours" which YES is true..it takes UP TO 48hours to get the points added on but that's ONLY IF THEY ARE WRITTEN ON THE RECEIPT. the points were not written on the receipt so i asked her to put em on. when she said "oh but they'll be added later on" i took out the receipt for the Torres and pointed out that these points she claims to come later won't unless it's WRITTEN down. nowhere on the receipt with apples did it say 100CP for that day on the CP transaction receipt.
turns out we were right and she went to add the points. However, that b*t*h seems to have put it on HER card or someting because the clubcard number does not match my one and said "total cp on 04/08/09 is 46" when i have WELL over 4500.0 -
Today....I stood up for myself!
Noticed the Granny's didn't state 2 for 50, as all the others did, and as we needed apples got two packs, just in case.
Got back to the car...wombled an £8.00 off a £40 spend on the way...decided to go back in & use it on DD's birthday pressie straight away, and noticed the apples hadn't gone on. Took reciept to CS, and got the standard "added later" response, replied "But they do go on straight away - they do for all the other offers, there is a problem with your system." She went off to find her supervisor, to be told that she was in a first aid course seminar...result, 100 points

I went to my local Tescos and bought 1 pack of granny smith apples and checked the signs. It did not say any where I had to buy two. When I paid it did not come up on the receipt.I went to cs who first bought a bag of golden delicious over which have stickers saying when you buy 2 and then tried to say she spoke to the head of checkout who said it will not show on my receipt now (claiming it was a new thing!). I knew this was rubbish as bought other offers in the past which always have shown up.
When I got home I rang up clubcard and the woman didin't know and said she will call me back once the shop I did on that day was showing. Later on that day I phoned again and the guy knew what he was doing and said they should show on but they have had a problem with random items and the bonus points were not being added. He then added them for me.
In conclusion they should def show on receipt as this guy who works for clubcard has confirmed it.0 -

Can you please check the receipt they gave you confirming you got the points. See if it really HAS been put onto YOUR clubcard, coz when this happened..it turned out the B*T*H has put the points on some unknown card and not ours..
so check you CC number is the same as that on the receipt they've put the points on.0
