Good news from the dentist...apparently I had chipped a tooth, and it was exposeing the nerve...... but it's not enough damage for a filling, so he's put a paste on it to seal the nerve in, he's hoping that it will do the trick if not he'll have to fill it, but any problems ring back and he'll get me seen as quick as he can.

Though have to confess shattered with the toothache and thetabs etc, that went back to bed, slept solid from 2pm to 7pm, 1st time in nearly a week that I haven't woke up with toothache or needing the inhaleur, so the steriods and tabs are kicking in.

My tutor has been brilliant over this assisgnment, he's given me a weeks extension to do the online blogs (10 points), another week for the main assisgnment but said if I'm struggling just do the review (10 points), as the course covers 6 aspects of business, when you do the exam its bit of a multichoice, so if your week in one subject you don't have to answer.

Its not ideal, but 20 points better than 0, and then catch the marks back with the others.

    No blocked toilets 2ngt xx

    Good news - we're on a roll!!

Got squeezed into dentist on Monday, go at dinnertime and wait, but at leasr I'm in.

Won £10 love to shop voucher from the postal thing we do, so thats going up for xmas.

DD she got her marks from her ballet and tap exams, she can't wait now to go back after half term.

    Ballet - Commendation
    Tap - Higher Commendation

a miracle happened - went into home bargains and spent CASH...... only spent £8.00 but would of just wipped a card out.

Treated myself - cup of tea and white choc and raspberry muffin at Cafe Nero.

    :jI survived the sleepover:j

Must say absolutely shattered thou, fun, as I finished antibiotics and steriods Sunday, but as well as having filling fixed last wed, broke a tooth thurs, the filling fell out.

So yesterday dentist, he refilled the filling that came out, checked his handywork, as I was still getting toothache, the filling was ok, but he thinks that I got an infection in the nerve. More antibiotics.....

Literally had an hr before I picked up dds friend.

    The fun and games

1st hour - went through 4 films, dvd, 3 wii games...... then tea. To be met by I'm bored...... luckly I said they could do some crafts, 2 1/2hrs later, not wanting to see a piece of paper or glue again, kids were happy.

    Made-
Mini memo box - Flowerpot photoholder (brought), pen, pencil, notepad - covered with matching paper.

Clothes peg - cut piece of matching paper, glitter gems and put some post it style notes

Memo board - stuck on memo pad covered the top

3 sets of memo pads - different sizes

Girls call it "get a girlfriend picture for grandads" (have to get a photo of it)

Basically got peel off swanky notes (39p Homebargains), 4 sizes of post it style notes, back cardboard has a swanky lady, and 4 asda value note pads.

Considering for £2.00 both kids had a set and they were quiet, can't complain.

Then 8.30, so said they could watch a dvd in bed, 4got mines not been tuned in to tv, couldn't get dds dvd player to work, so bless them, they had to watch enchanted on the computer, only comes up half screen size, haven't got speakers,,,,,,, then about 9.45pm, they come down, we're bored can we watch mamma mia.........NO...........BED.

I could hear them chatting, left them to it, catch up with the computer, then 11.45pm, both come down, can we come and watch TV with u were bored....NO........ I'm watching Law and Order in peace!!

When went to bed at 1am, checked on them, dd got 3/4 of the bed, her friend half hanging out with all the quilt......

We went out today to Ice Cream Farm, they did some crafting, played outside, had the time of their life feeding the donkeys, mini ponies, pigs and goats with polos.

Then McDonalds on the way home......... They must of been tired as soon as they got in the car, they were out for the count, thou there excuse is the sun was in their eyes...

Very weird sleeping back in a single bed, let dd and her friend have my room.

We've got my Uncles furneral on Thurs so dd going there for a sleepover..... Ear plugs to follow....as DD and her friend literally only stopped talking to draw breath!!

The debt busting on hold for this week, :( but still got some time left. xx

Sounds like you and the kids had a good time.
Glad your tooth is a lot better..mines still really sore...thats why I'm still up..lol
  • Oh sorry to hear about the tooth problems. Poor OH is suffering. He has ignored his already poor teeth for years and the painkillers hide toothache. Well now he has a really bad infection. Its in the bone . Dentict says she hasnt seen anything like it before. Specialist appointment on the 26th.

LOL at the sleepover M21 - Been there done that so many times although thankfully mostly informal rather than parties so no need for the additional entertainment. The worst was DD1 birthday last year - they were still up until 4 am!!!!
