I could have hugged the bloke from the health team, he was absolutely amazing, the school have admitted that their has been some probs with DD, but as quite a bit happened over the summer, they weren't aware!! they were but didn't want to do anything.
He has got action plans set up at the school, supprt network for DD, in terms of her teacher, and the learning mentor, I've got to notify the school the day of the hearing to say whats happened, and then there go from there.
He's also arranged a follow up meeting for end Feb, to see what they have done, / doing / how DD coping.
The school were aware of all this last Easter, and just buried their head in the sand, as he said he doesn't normally attend these type of meeting, but he did under the circumstances.
Just awaiting for a reply for cafcass, as to why the rules were breached, its now in the hands of the line manager. The trouble is the damage has already been done, which can't be retified, but something needs doing. If I didn't have bee in the bonnet be going the other way..
Another £20 has turned up from the halifax, was meant to be £35, but whether thats split, I just had enough of them.
Done 2 weeks of one of one of my Ou courses yesterday and today, - take 2mor off, as got sky bloke coming, and got a PTA meeting (so exiciting!!), the 2nd course ust ignore, the other one about 3/4 weeks behind, my heart not been it in, but now got the books back out, know got to get somewhere.
At least May i get a break... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
No money off debts yet... getting itchy feet! 19th I get to pay £240 to start off with, def help the sign off zero!
Debt wise, got to regoiate with one card company as there temp agreement is us this month, it was 6mths, I've kept up to the arrangement all on time, so hopefully there agree to another repayment plan. They can't get blood out of a stone.. so fingers crossed, ring next week after made the past payment, otherwise it upsets the system!
Very good went and had my 3 monthly foot check up for diabetics, thou the woman, was getting rid of some hard skin and cut the heel... I don't know who went more white her or me!!
Then took mum to McDonalds for breakfast, semi mse - used free coffee voucher, £2 lunchoen vouchers, so pd just over £4, she had pancakes + syrup, and I had double bacon + egg muffin meal..
Very good, went and had a look at Boots, still 50% sale, so never got anything, did nip to the £1 shop, spent £10, but was really gd, as I was looking at stuff and putting it back, whereas b4 would just gone in the basket.
We went out ngt for tea, mum + dads 49th wedding anniversary, madam wanted to go to the pub in town we went to b4 xmas, - mum and I had steak, i thought I was going to ask dad for his false teeth to chew it 1st (sorry for the added detail!!), - complained and we got the 4 meals refunded!! only pd for round of drinks and puds. We weren't expecting posh, but edible!!
Finally got an answer from dhss regarding drop in money, apparently as I had transferred from IS to ESA, they had to keep me in the relative same amount of money (lost £5 pw), but now they've cut it to ESA assesment rate, so lost another £30 a week... not good on the finances. - I've manged to reduce outgoings by £65 a month, need to go through again with fine tooth comb for the rest.
apparently theres such a back log that they don't know where I am in the system, but not to worry as I'm covered to June with a sick note, if they keep me on ESA then once all assesments done, get the difference back, I felt sorry for the lady, she said I can't see how the system suddenly changes over night, - unfortunately it does.
Annoying as I was just offered a ms job, upto £250 for days work, I said no, but you can see how and why people would do back-handers etc.
DD had a letter from school, about going to the outbound centre again in Sept, she wants to go, its the first time since shes been back at school, shes shown an interest, so said put name down, and hopefully she'll get in.
No news off the solicitor yet, give them a ring 2mor.... something don't want to do, but one of this years aim is not to bury head in the sand...

Not much going on here, but paid £12 off my debts, 1st payment off the yr! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

It was payday today, thou in one hand out the other almost twice as quick, but without sounding daft feel that I'm moving somewhere, as nearly at £300, and theres some more to go on Friday. Good start to the yr, espically as Jan and Feb will be virtual months for seeing colour of money!!
Positive - the card company that the agreement is due to end this month, I rang them tonight and said that I'm losing £35pw, but I've jigged some figures, and I could continue with £20 pm, feel awful no more, but its got to be for the mo, the lad was really nice, he said as I'd kept to the 6 mth plan, paid on time, not used the card, I'd even rang up twice when I thought the payment was going to be late (id got the dates wrong!), that there be no problem creating a new plan for 6mths, just ring b4 weekend with an updated SOA. Until its in writing then I'll be happy, but at least sounds positive. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hi Mum, isn't it horrible when you are all MSE then treat yourself to a meal and it is awful  We hardly go out to eat anymore and so when we do I expect it to be perfect
Good news on the agreement front - at least they are being nice, at the end of the day it is tough, like you say you can't get blood out of a stone
Hope your foot is OK? :eek:Just keep swimming!0 -
Not a bad day today, we hit the Boots 75% sale, it was hell on earth, it was like someone had said you've got 30 secs to get as much as you can, there was 2 ladies they had 30 bags full and were debating how to get them home..
We spent £90, but had £50 of vouchers, and then dad and me both put £20 each in, and we saved over £270. Had 4 bags full, but when it was on the look, you could see £90s worth, but not £360s worth.
Put some up for motherdays.
Got lovely Dove set - 2 full size shower gels, deordrant and toiletty bag for £3, so theres one for me, mum, and nanna Pat (when DD was born my Aunt + Uncle took over role of 2nd grandparents, so theyve always been nan + grandad). so thats DDs mothers day presents sorted out.
Then I've claimed Santury set, Ted Baker and another posh one the 3 were £13, so thats bday prezzie of DD.
I'm hoping that when adjusted the list, we should have made a massive dent with the present list. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I finally found all of Decembers statements and filled in the sums added all my business debts, replace savings, thats a long way off, deal with one thing at a time.
Had a bit of a fright when I realised it came to £26479. I would estimate a fair few thousand is interest as one card was 59.9% apr, so when I was trying to pay normally I'd pay £120, and then the interest would be £100 going back on.
But as of Aug last yr when set up self managed dmp, I've thrown as much into as I can, and the lower apr, as most of them have been pretty fair, its easier now as theres been regular payments, and no agreements been broke.
I did well as my camera was £140, but managed to make £60 towards it, and thats been paid, so 14 debts now not 15! 1 less in right direction. So far paid £408 off this month, theres still £100 left to pay, but Feb be easier. (she hopes).
In all honeslty don't even want to think of a debt free date, but I'm not using the cards, the repayment ones are frozen, the others could use there small bits of credit, but don't want to think like that, thats one of ways ended up in a mess.
But its on the up, and thats positive. If I can hit above 5k this yr, I know it wont be 5k off the debt as there will be interest, but seeing it in sig spuring me on.

Hi Mum
It always amazes me the times that you post - at 3.51am you should be in bed asleep
59.9% Apr is horrific  It shouldn't be allowed
Well done though on reducing the debts from 15 to 14 :T It might be a long journey but one you will be proud of when you finishJust keep swimming!0
