the dining room looked like santas grotto gone wrong, mum did offer to help! but after her muddling up the presents, diy was the best option!
Have a lovely day today, went and met some friends for lunch, have to say I'm glad I was wearing elastic waist leggings! were healthly and didn'y have starters!!. but DD had chicken tikka, and I had gammon, it was lovely, then the desert menu.... dd had eton mess, had half of it then decided she wasn't sure whether she likes it!! I had plum pudding and brandy sauce... so nice to get away from everything, the pubs 30miles away. Beautiful, so stuffed haven't had tea...
Left instructions with dad and he "supervisied" mum with wrapping dds stocking and her suitcases, she couldn't go wrong with that! xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
glad you had a nice time with your friends as they say a change is as good as a rest0

Can't believe another weeks nearly gone, no debt busting this week, be next week when some money comes in.
Took DD late ngt shopping last ngt, she's really money savvy, she's got her head screwed on... but gave her some mone so she could choose present for mum and dad, spent £10 each on them
Dad - 3 bottles local cider, box of turkish delight
Mum - tshirt and showergel.
We had some bargains from Evans, all pd by cash, so pleased, we hit sale rack 1st
Mums t-shirt
3 x summer strappy tops
knickers
posh jersey top, metal beaded neckline
swimsuit (bargain - £35 reduced to £5)
The original price was £118, got it for £39.
Had Christmas dinner at school, and dad had one too!, as he was plate carrier, the head asked him to stay, (ver surpised but made him stay!!)
Good news, mum and dads golden wedding Jan 2013, she'd been on about renewing their vows, - thought I'd try and arrange as a surprise, but registary office was £200, at dinner sat by another govenor, but he's also a church minister, got chatting, he says they do them at the local church, he could conduct it, all need to pay is hire church, a lot cheaper than registry office. Managed to give him date, then after new yr, were going to have chat about times.
Mums been through so much, and dad has, they've both done a lot for me and DD, just a way to say thank you.
The CSA, - what a farce, they reassed the claim as his lordship was now working, the previous assement was £6.70per week, now its £0.00, when i rang to say this don't make sense, apparently they trusted him to fill in his income!! so they've now closed the case, got to wait 13 weeks to re-apply, then they put me on the new system, I was told to have a look at csa calculator for an idea of what he should be paying, as I said to the bloke at csa, I'm not going through all the saga and he gets away with blue murder, the calculator says he has to pay £40 pw......... I can foresee him packing in work!
We've got to wait till new year for appointment with school, then the solicitor, literally cutting the dates so fine before the court case. But going to enjoy xmas and then worry xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Very proud of myself just added the spends for this yr on bdays and xmas (not including, mum, dad, me or dd). We do a trade off in the house I'm responsible for all presents, and dad pays for the garage rental ( i get the better deal!!)
Birthdays
est budget - £450
actual spend - £128
proper price - £530
Xmas
est budget - £545
actual spend - £241
proper price - £859.
Madams broke up from school today, bless her she was straight home then ballet, then home quick change and she went to a christmas party with one of her school friends, at 9pm she was out for the count on the settee.
We're finally wrapped last of presents today, v plzed as dad managed to get soap and glory set for me, even thou he did will I know what it looks like - so cut the pic out of boots catalogue!! mum said he went rather white at the £60 price tag, but got some colour in his cheeks, when he saw the £25 advertising... xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Had a fun weekend, Sat went ok took DD and her friend to see Santa, DD doesn't believe, but her friend does, it was a bit hairy, but the kids loved it, so we had the afternoon of I'm bored, I don't that games.. I ended up making paper snowflakes and suddenly was flavour of the month, kept them entertained for 2 hrs!!
Sunday - we had a visit to our favourite place a+e, if I've got my old computer chair for when I have to do anything in the kitchen, the chair gave way as I was sat on it... not a pretty sight... luckly nothing broken, pulled ligaments and tore a muscle in my collarbone and shoulder, so am now in a sling for a few days, it could only happen to me, DD wasn't happy as she was hoping that would come home on plaster as she wanted to write on it!!
Back to debt busting on Wed. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
