Thought they would have given you more back but guess the staff probably lied to cover their own backs!!
My thoughts exactly, as they obviously had time to get their stories straight,
as they say, its not over to the fat lady sings - still got chance!! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
A little bit more gone off, thou the OD only got £10 pd off this month....... but its £10 better than nothing, overpaid else where.
Half done my budget for Oct, the diary filled in with the incomings + wack of goings so far were floating, at least not spending more than thats coming in. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Had a free £25.00 goodwill gesture from LLoydsTSB, nipped into town with dad, went to cashpoint - went through the saga £20 cash, returned the card no money, luckly dad was with me, went in the branch, they didn't want to know as it was my Hlaifax account, me being me - said theres no sign to say LloydsTSB customers only!!, was bit worried, with card cloning and at all that, the woman said it could be the cash draw, might be because its got a note jammed I'll check, you need to check ur bank, I couldn't walk across, was in agony with back, so rang the Halifax, they checked the account, no money had gone out, but the risk is as my card gone in + pin, strong chance of card being cloned. Could either put a hold on card for 28 days, no transactions be allowed, as debit, but could be used for cheques, or cancel the card, and wait 7 -10 days replacement, + new pin. we decided that way, safer, but if I needed money would have to bring in 2 forms of ID + max £50 quid a day.
Left stranded in LLoydsTSB, as the woman had told me to wait well she sorted it, after asking 3 times still waiting, asked to sit down, they told me to sit at the desk - while a customer was discussing her account with another staff member, quickly pointed out, there was no way I would want a complete stranger sat by me, while discussing my account......
Found the original member of staff, 45 mins later, she'd gone 4 a break and 4got about me, and she hadn't even been + checked the machine, what made it worse, was there was 2 strips flapping by the where u put the card. In the end demanded the branch manager, he then went and checked the machine and said don't worry about the flapping bit, we took a bit off........ why the heck didn't they tell me that nearly an hr ago, we'd wasted an hr, cancelled a card, panic in case my card could be cloned, all for nought. So he gave me £25 as a goodwill gesture, and give him his due he rang the Halifax and overrode the ID system.
Took dd and her 2 friends to Pizza Hut, and dad came with us, we had a brilliant meal, nothing was wrong, the kids absolutely loved it, but by the time they got to the pud, they filled their bowl up with icecream and everything, there was not a square inch that wasn't covered, half way through they realised there eyes were bigger than their bellies.
We did pig out (had the 50% voucher, dad + i both had 3 courses), the bill came it £28 (after discount), used LLoydsTSB money, only cost me £3.
The nasty bit.......
Got home, then realised the kitchen sink had backed up, the drain outside was full to the brim, luckly we're covered under the British Gas (called them out), 30 minutes later, Dyno rod come out, lifted up the man hole cover, it was 6in from the top...... had backed up, apparently our neighbours waste goes to ours then down the system....... had we of left it to 2mor morning, it would of blown the top off the manhole and the back garden would have been covered in lots of poop poops......
They got to the cause of the blockage - it was a nappy. + 2 x time of the month towels (all wrapped together) hense blocked it.... who the flipping heck flushes a nappy down the loo..... I appriciate it does say towels are flushable....... next doors items......
Thank god the bloke got it cleared, and we were insured, as I wouldn't of liked the bill. Espically as Dyno Rod - yes there brilliant, but the prices! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
What an eventful day!!!!
Lloyds service isn't very good then!!!!!..leaving you standing about all that time but at least they gave you something for your trouble in the end.THough the girl needs telling off for leaving you standing but the manager seemed to do his best to rectify it.
Yuck to the drain problems..
Hope everything else is ok and glad you enjoyed Pizza Hut.0 -

I love the icecream machine, but after seeing 3 kids its puts you off!!
They've brought a new menu in, with the puds before they did a trio of mini cheesecakes, ginger + lime, clotted cream with a cherry jus, and chocolate, (that was so sickly), but now, you can mix and match any 3, the clotted cream is to die for.....
Its start the big study planning from 2mor, keep me out of trouble xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Good luck with the studying.xx0
