t-moblie is more expensive(36 pounds for 800 min/internet/email) but gives more min, 3 network is for 30 pounds (500 min/interent/email/skype) give skype free calls ...

    I am contemplating the same offer (after 15 yrs with Cellent/02). By my brief assessment, there are more money savers urging caution with "Three" than supporting them so I too am in a dilemma.

    The £30 a month for the Blackberry Bold is unbeatable - would lover to hear from any other savers about "Three" !

    Sorry chihiro - just got off the phone from O2 retentions who eventually gave me the same deal as Three [Blackberry Bold/Unlimited Internet/600 mins/1000 text; etc., etc.]. :j

    Why O2 didn't co-operate in the first place is beyond me ......... and to think, I only phoned to get my PAC code so I could sign up with Three.

    Good luck !

    For all their faults, Three are not a bad network if you never have to ring customer services :)

    the saving with 3 may go if you go over 500 minutes. If you think you need more t-mobile may be a better option.

    T-Mobile have better customer services but then again, any network's CS is better than 3s.

    Remember to go through quidco for additional cashback (T-mobile or 3).

    Three is not that bad IMO.
    When you comparing minutes allowances, you need to assess your calls pattern as Three charges for the first minute in full. If you have a lot of calls lasting less than 1 minute it could badly affect your allowance.

    Three is better value providing you're in a coverage area. That said, T-Mobile has less 3G coverage, so you'd better find out first before any commitment. Three UK coverage is here;

    Never enter a contract with 3. It will end in tears whenever you decide to come out. Yes 3 are cheap but they are by far the worst business (not only the worst mobile phone service providers) once something goes wrong with your contract or you decide to change a service provider. They will seriously mess up your life. Do you think a cheaper service is worth sleepless nights and 24/7 agro? Many service providers do match up 3's best offers if you discuss them before changing over. Think twice before going near 3. After many years with 3 I am paying the price of my loyalty as I tried to change my service provider.

    The two networks are currently merging their coverage in a long term agreement. 3G coverage that is.

    I changed from T-Mobile as they would not give me a better deal and I had been with them for 6 years but their price plan was the same as new customers. I changed to Three as it was cheaper and the minutes were excellent. The coverage was fine and then I moved to a another county neighbouring London and it does not work in certain areas. Coverage is definitely an issue depending where you are, saying that a friend had it in London and some areas that they went they would lose it. I need to change again as it does not work in my house.

    QFT - i was with them for years and had no problems. However i know customer services can be a bit dodgy so i guess if you are lucky and never need to call them you might be ok ;)

    Im going back to 3 after being with Voda<insert 4 letter word here> for the past 12 months and being very far from impressed with their service.
