Masive mobile bill

I left my phone in a taxi drunk. Woke up blocked the phone too late £100 phone call to pakistan had to pay the bill had no choice0

so it`s a simple answer then, The network has no responsibilty to help with the bill, The mate and other "friends" have been helping themselves to free phone calls, You know roughly who has been using it, so its a police matter.
Why should the network pick up any of the bill, Their loss will get passed onto the rest of us at some point, Sounds harsh, But not sure what you want to hear from the forum.0 -
I do agree - why should we have to pay more because of irresponsible people! but in the same breath I'm not sure how he's going to pay it and am just trying to help the only way I know how - through this site!
thanks for all the messages.0 -
i`d seriously consider going to the police, Theres a difference between mates having a joke and calling a couple of numbers and what has happened here, They seem like no kind of friends i`d want any where near me.
As you said you only posted to seek help, But not sure what help can be offered other than making am official complaint, I`m still curious how they knew it was used in so many different handsets, As far as i know this is not the type of thing that can be seen on the basic customer service screen, Would have thought it would have taken an in depth investigation to see this.
good look though.0 -
Report it to the police!
He ows his mates nothing. They've conned him out of £4k. They should be hung out to dry.

Hi sus4n,
Could you tell me if this is something we could help with?
If so, could you arrange for the owner of the account in question to email us with their details using the 'Contact us' form on the Vodafone.
When sending the email they'll need to include the link for your thread and the code WRT135 in the body of it to make sure it comes back to me.
While I naturally can't promise anything we're more than happy to take a closer look at the case.
Thanks,
Lee
