loophole to cancel orange contract..

i just cancelled mine no questions asked..
i pay 36 pounds a month.. and was offered to go to 24 pounds a month for unlimited texts and "lots of minutes..."
however i declined and cancelled in favour of a new contract with a new phone hehe
not sure if its already been mentioned but doubt it...

ive just phoned orange and they say now their not changing their prices! therefore they will not terminate my contract! is there a way around this??0

ive just tried to cancel my contract too & the smug !!!!!! on the phone said they are no longer increasing prices & i will have to pay £270 to cancel mine!
Quite annoying as it takes me 3 hours to get texts through & goes to answerphone most of the time!
oh well, only another 8 months to wait!!0
