Gmail is like Hotmail, in that it's a free web based e-mail service, except it has much better functions (in my eyes anyway), for example it has loads and loads of storage, you can search your e-mails and it ties together all conversations.

The invite is that you can only sign-up if someone e-mails you, I've e-mailed you an invite so you can sign-up and try it out if you want. Anyone else want an invite just PM me with your e-mail address.
