Question: Do you think people are using tools to automatically steal invites from your site?

Answer: It is unlikely that this is occurring. The gmailomatic has over one-half dozen different checks in place to ensure that no person can acquire more than their fair share of invites. Instead, invites disappear very quickly because there are more than 5 million hits per day on this single page. The demand for invites is very high and the number of people frequenting the page to get invites is quite enough to ensure that available ones are snapped up very quickly.

hi im having trouble with this gmail thing it said there was 1 available so i entered my email then it goes to a page saying welcome to gmail but wot is my username and password supposed to be. can ne 1 help me plus it doesnt say sign up newhere

Forget it Alan, as far as I can make out it is for people to get rid of unwanted invites, they go into a pool and are sent out again to others who already have gmail accounts.

This tip is for people who have not signed up for Google email yet. Just be patient, sooner or later you'll be fast enough to get a an email in your non-Gmail account inviting you to sign up before its officially released to the world, ....... and all the good email addresses are taken up.

It is not meant for people who have already signed up, don't be greedy, one of these accounts (1GB emails) is enough for a life-time of email stuff.

thanks got an invite within about 10 minutes, only when i got to my inbox i clicked on contacts and someone called vicky was in there :-/ no idea who they were but they got deleted, ill see how it goes

How come then, that so many people have so many invites.
