GMail or GoogleMail is owned and runned by Google. GMail started at 2GB and have been uping the size so at the minute its 2776.25690 megabytes (and counting) of free storage so you'll never need to delete another message. The reason why you need to be invited is because it is in a beta stage, and due to this the only way you can set an account up is to be invited. In the USA people can sign up by using their mobile phones or as the americans call them cell phones. I have been using GMail for ages and it is great. Also you can use GTalk which in the UK its GoogleTalk, you can download the cleint or run it from the Internet Browser anywhere in the world.
