That just screams employee risk adverse mindset to me.

To be fair, the shares were a [massive] bonus for some work I did in starting up a new line of business. So I didn't plough my own money into it.

I am generally a risk adverse person to be honest. I did invest in the stock market, and have made very good gains. But I think trouble is in store at some point with rising interest rates/credit tightening.

My view on the economy is that inflation is in the system, and it's gonna bite back with a vengeance at some point; yet people still seem the good times can continue. I also think we are heading for a recession (maybe a couple of years away) because our economic growth is based on debt.

I'm not sure how things will pan out. Will the lenders tighten credit when they realise defaults are a serious problem? I don't know. I have however protected my wealth against today's global neagtive real interest rates!

    Good night!

I have read the book you mention. In fact, I think I was probably reading it at the time of this thread.

I do reasonably well from property, but I also have my fingers in a few other pies, which I'd rather not discuss on a forum.
