Mainly just their web site looks like only promoting 12 month free contract deals, not much for other choices. Looks like a cons site that setup purely to lure people to sign up, once they have enough number just close shop... well thisi s just my unproven guess
But the main thing that finally changed my mind with my order was the fact that if you failed to claim one cashback then they will cancel all other cashback due. So that put consumer at a rather unfavourable position compare to other cashback deals from CPW, e2save etc.0 -
Were you just looking at their homepage by any chance? You can get other deals by either selecting the networks from the top or from the right. I would say that site promotes offers through cashbacks, not only promoting 12 month free deals (compared to other mobile phone retailers). I thought it was because of the posts made on rpoints that made you decide to cancel it.lkoky wrote:Mainly just their web site looks like only promoting 12 month free contract deals, not much for other choices.
Yes I agree with you this, they should be more flexible and follow other cashback companies to allow you to carry on to claim others if you have missed any. I suppose that's how they can make more money by refusing to pay out. Phones2u has even stricter unfavourable terms, saying you must claim within 14 days  or The Mobile Outlet tells you to send in months 11 and 12 within 21 days of the date! (IMO, why not say to send these 2 bills together within the 21 days from the 12 month bill??)But the main thing that finally changed my mind with my order was the fact that if you failed to claim one cashback then they will cancel all other cashback due. I guess with all cashback deals, you must make sure you claim your money back regardless whether it's a manual or automatic claim at the appropriate times, following it up if it hasn't happened. Money is better in your pocket than theirs'!

It is nice to find cashbacks for your phone and service. But it would depend on the consumer if they value the cash back or not. Even if the cashback sounded shady.0
