I will shorten the story so far as it is a long one. Just need some advice really.
15/05/2009- I ordered a dining room table and chairs for £635.19 from littlewoods online. On the 03/06/2009 it was delivered. When we opened it we discoverd that the wood was two different colours as if it had been bleached (which it shouldnt look like) So I phoned up and arranged for collection of the table and a new one delivered. They charged my account with £310.68 to order a new table top.
On 16/06/2009 the new table was delivered this time the table was mouldy and had chips in the wood, so i phoned up littlewoods and asked for another replacement and collection again i was charged for the table this time it was £376.42 whilst I was on the phone we discovered that the table had no legs in the box, so I informed the advisor and she said she would order a new table instead. The next day we was putting up the chairs and realised that there was parts missing for two of the tables, so I emailed them and asked them to send the parts but not to order a new table.
24/07/09 my account gets charged £103.84 for a pair of chairs, I was so annoyed at this as I had asked them not to charge me, I was told this is because they cannot process the order without a charge. I waited in on Monday for delivery of the table and when it arrived there was still no legs so I phoned up and spoke to a manager who gave me the number for James Mitton Customer Experience manager, so I tried to phone him and the number was a 'dead' number.
I phoned back the manager and she answered the phone and I said I had just spoke to her but she pretended to be somebody else and said that the number was a wrong number given by mistake. I ended up getting through to the directors office to be told James Mitton no longer works in that department. The lady ordered a set of table legs and promised they would arrive today between 8am-2pm.
I have recieved delivery of the chairs today but no table legs I know it is 1.25pm but there has already been one delivery I presume that they would have put them on the same van, but not so. They have offered 10% off the table, which is a generous offer but I just need some advice as to how to speak to them, the lady said she would phone me this afternoon to see if everything was ok. Sorry for the long post
Thankyou in advance
Claire

How's about you send it all back, get a refund and buy from a 'proper' furniture shop.

Here we go again - the comment was helpful because now people will read it and respond.
I read it originally and it hurt my eyes so I gave up.
I have not read it since because you no longer need advice as you have asked for it to be deleted.0 -
Lot of Fred Deleeters about these days and so far they're all women! :rotfl:0
