Hi, I hope this is the right place to put this!!!
On Monday, I bought a baby annabel for my daughter from argos. On monday night, it broke. Can't take it back yet as box is at my sisters, so waiting for that.
Anyway, Today she found it and decided to draw on it with felt tip and I cant get the thing off it
, so where would I stand with this as it is faulty?
Thanks
Lianne

i think this may well depend on the mood of the person who serves you on customer services.. for the simple reason that your daughter has drawn on it, which makes it look more likely to have been misused, if that makes sense.
when you say it broke, whats wrong with it exactly?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Thanks, Thats exactly what I thought!!

hmm.
well i would suggest first plan of action would be to try your hardest to get the felt pin off (ask on the old style board, someone there is sure to know how to git rid of it)
secondly, go back to store with receipt, doll, and box if possible ASAP, explain politely whats happened and hope for the best. dont really see how a child could cause that sort of damage to the doll, so as long as you are sevred by someone with common sense they should willingly replace it for you.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Thankyou, I will have a look on OS! And hope for someone nice on CS tomorrow! 0 -
I suggest trying small amounts of Methalyted spirit on the felt tip areas (Use a little applied to a tissue)..It is the purple liquid and is pretty powerful!0

It doesnt matter, whilst it is always best to have the box in good condition if the product is faulty you can reject it within a reasonable period of time. Drawing on the box is irrelavent that doesnt make the product go faulty."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
Thanks Johntea, I will try that
Zorber, Thanks also. I should have made myself a bit clearer, She has drawn on the doll itself, not the box!0 -

Try Flash Eraser - that has worked for me on lots of things.
If you don't have that try Amway LOC liquid if you have any or know of anyone with some.
Maybe even just a microfibre cloth is worth a try!
These have worked on pen for me but depends on what the pen is on if you see what I mean!
Good Luck!0 -
Thanks for all your replies, I just took it back with the pen still on it and they replaced it, no problem. CS didnt even check it!!!0
