Mobile Bluetooth problem. Any ideas?

New Sony s700i, does everything ok except connect via Bluetooth.

Other Bluetooth phone can find and send stuff to it, but the Sony can't find or send stuff itself. Seems to be a one way street.

Can't get on the Sony site to try their knowlege base due to heavy traffic.

Anyone any idea whether this may be a small prob that just needs tweaked or if it may be a phone fault?

I know the motorola v80 wouldnt send stuff or recieve till i had paired it with the headset but that came with it, could that maybe why? I have the k700i and i immediatley paired it with the headset and it sends things much easier that the moto series.

I did go through the search and pair procedure that was in the instructions. It found the other phone and the pairing was complete, but it just won't send to it.

However, I've just tried pairing it with a different Bluetooth phone this morning and it's worked a treat.

There must be some sort of incompatability between the Sony and the first phone I tried.  :-/

At least it looks as though the Sony does actually work though, I was beginning to get worried.

Edit: Just as an update in case anyone else wonders about the Sony.....there was a definate fault with the first phone I tried to pair the Sony with. The Sony has sent stuff really easily and quickly by Bluetooth to everything else I've tried it with.
