    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hello!

We have just been to pick up some tamiflu for our dd. She came to stay with a tummy bug saturday but by today her temp was up, dizzy, chills, cough, sore throat etc - it seems she ticked too many boxes when I phoned in to the pandemic helpline. So I have been busy nursing her and catching up on the washing.

OH doesn't feel well now either so I could be last one standing - ironic really when I have ME/cfs! :rotfl:

We have plenty of food, tissues, and meds in but we were all meant to be going on holiday at the weekend!:doh::cry:

(((hugs))) to anyone else with this flu

Off to put more washing onto the airers now and to get a nice chicken stew going for dinner - well I'm still hungry!:D
Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

    Afternoon all.

I'm 'orribly late today; like N9eav, I spent yesterday flaked out on the sofa, apart from several quick (for me) dashes to the bathroom. So nothing got done yesterday.

Been playing catch-up today; washing done, dried and in the airing cupboard, bread rolls and cherry & coconut cakes made, all in between a couple of trundles out on the scooter to take Molly-Dog over the field.

Mr LW went to the farmers market for me yesterday; I'd asked him to get 1/2 lb of mushrooms, he comes home with 1/2 kilo. Can you freeze the little blighters? Otherwise we'll be eating shrooms every day this week!

We picked a whole load of cherry plums on Saturday, with a view to jamming them on Sunday, and poor old Mr LW got lumbered doing that as well. All I had left to do was create some labels on the 'puter (that's now been done). Thank goodness for a hubby who can get off his bum and do things when I'm not up to it!:o

Supposed to be going to Mr T when he gets in tonight. Don't really feel up to it, but I have to try and make the effort.

Not sure what I've missed over the last couple of days, so Congrats to anyone celebrating, and ((((HUGS)))) to anyone who's unwell or unhappy for any reason.

Yes, you can......when sliced up they can go straight into soup, casseroles, frying pan......but they will hold some liquid. If you want to make risotto, then defrost them first and use the liquid as part of the cooking liquor.

:j I'm SO proud of myself. Mum bought me the ingredients when i moved out a few days ago, so decided to use the ingredients rather than spend money needlessly as i have some time on my hands!
